Brunch on Sunday. I've eaten here before, and it was excellent. First of all, while service was pleasant, it took nearly 40 minutes to get our food. Neither the patio nor the restaurant were by any means full, they must've just been short staffed. Our five-year-old got her kids meal a full 15 minutes before we got our meals. First time here. And most likely won't be the last. Food was delicious. The staff very friendly and our server, Mary Beth was phenomenal!! She shares so many fun and interesting historical facts of the restaurant, and the beautiful descriptions of the different dishes and where they were sourced from and how they were prepared. All in all, it was a most enjoyable evening! Thank you! We'll be back!
Hopkins is a great place for good food and drink. We enjoyed our happy hour drinks and app specials. The half wedge was large enough for 2 and very good, although a bit salty. The baked white fish special was excellent. I would advise against ordering the Bol du Nord. Its listed as fried walleye with a mushroom cream sauce, spinach and wild rice medley.
