The server checked for beverages right away, as people were seated. Brought the beverages out right away, too. The appetizer came out quickly. Spinach and artichoke dip was warm and yummy. Chips and bread slices were perfect, too. She took our orders after we had time to look at the menu. The food was great. Orders were all correct. Steaks, salmon, and walleye were cooked properly, and everything looked great. Steamed asparagus was perfectly tender-crisp and well buttered. Refills on beverages were offered, and delivered quickly. Our plates were discretely cleared as people finished. We were all too full for dessert, but the choices looked amazing. If we didn't have a birthday cake waiting for us at home, we would have ordered at least a couple of desserts.

Ordered steamed vegetable medley and it came with 7 tiny pieces of asparagus for $3.50. Like seriously?!? I would have rather had some over cooked broccoli and cauliflower. One vegetable is not a medley.ridiculousUpdate: while I understand that seasonal vegetables change, paying 50 cents a piece of asparagus is ridiculous. Grocery price is about 5-10 cents per piece of asparagus. Add in mark up, costs for restaurant, etc…that does not justify a 5-10x markup on asparagus! Those prices are ridiculous. Maybe try picking a vegetable that’s actually in season?The salad I got was good. The items my husband ordered were good but not justifiable for the price we paid.

Food was great,we got there around 8pm for dinner. The restaurant was near compactly on 1st floor. It was a bit difficult to carry on a conversation with someone do to the patrons kinda hanging out at there tables waiting for the band to start as soon as they did, 2/3 of the people in the dining room left to go upstairs. They where j u st kinda hanging out after a meal, waiting for the music, and having their drinks. Wasn't the best for people that came to eat and socialize over dinner. I don't think I will come on a Friday or Saturday night for dinner again. I will try again with a different time and day. It was loud.
Great bloody Mary's and margaritas. For fod we had the artichoke dip - this comes with chips and toasted bread and was fantastic! We split the fish tacos and fries. My idea of a fish taco is to make the fish the center piece and these were almost to full of lettuce and such that they were hard to eat. The fish was fantastic and if the lettuce would have been less and a lemon would have came with it they would have been a 5 star for sure. We will definitely be back

Recommended to us by the hotel in town and it did not disappoint. We beat the dinner rush on a Friday. Smoked pork chop was divine with the seasonal vegetables along with the Cajun Chicken.

Happened into River House Kitchen and Drinks and happily arrived on $10.99 Burger night. There were specials but my dinner mate and I both ordered off the menu. The Horseradish burger is going to haunt me for awhile! Delicious with a wonderful unique horsey sauce on the side. I ordered the waffle fries for $2 extra and they were worth it although the French fries were also very tasty. We both had waters but were tempted by the Ultimate Bloody. We kept it straight. Dinner partner went for the Hangover—burger with egg. He was a clean plater. Clean. Cheery and warm interior. Emma was our friendly and efficient waitstaff. Definitely worth a pop in!Parking: Parking in front and also around back with a back entrance.Kid-friendliness: Kids were dining.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance in front.
