Sonora's Mexican Restaurant is a popular spot for Mexican food, especially for those who have moved from Texas and are craving authentic flavors. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including the enchilada Sonora, a combo plate with crab/shrimp enchiladas. Guests enjoy vegetarian options like fajitas, and the food is consistently delicious. Recent reviews highlight the amazing service from waitstaff like Eva and Leila, who handle busy situations excellently and provide friendly customer service. While some dishes may have minor flaws, such as overcooked shrimp or missing items like horchata and flan, the overall experience remains enjoyable. The restaurant’s signature dish, the Chicken chimichanga, never disappoints, and the atmosphere is welcoming for both regulars and new visitors. The staff's attention to detail and hospitality encourage guests to return for lunch or special occasions.
