Great place to try Birria, either as tacos (traditional), as a quesadilla, and as a pizza. All choices come with consommé, where you dip your food in - think French dipped sandwich.
It was good, not one of our faves but would go there again with a different choice.

Los Portales Bar & Grill offers a delightful Mexican dining experience. The shrimp-filled empanadas and pizza barría remain standout dishes, while the horchata continues to be a refreshing delight. The roast pork, rice, and refried beans are simple yet perfectly executed, complemented by the exquisite guacamole and jalapeño sauce. The chorizo queso has also become a favorite among customers, alongside the street taco combo featuring flour tortillas, chicken, rice, and beans. Although some have found the Birria tacos good, they noted that the consomé could be improved. The seafood ceviche, while tasty, was described as being overwhelmed by the tomato sauce. The service is fantastic, and the drink selection is impressive and creative, making this gem worth revisiting. The atmosphere varies from chill to lively, especially during karaoke or party music nights, making it one of the top choices for great Mexican food in the area.
