Disrespectful management and staff, unprofessional host who speaks loudly and rudely about guests, slow food despite empty restaurant. Staffed with people who have short man syndrome.

Mallards Restaurant offers great service and amazing food, making it a favorite spot for many guests. The attentive staff, including servers like Karlie and Taylor, have received praise for being friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. The Chicken and Waffles at the Mother's Day Brunch were a hit, and guests have raved about the Nashville chicken and waffles, calling it the best combo they have had in a long time. The jambalaya has consistently impressed visitors with its perfect seasoning, and many noted that it was fantastic. Dishes like walleye were prepared very well, while the backend salmon was delicious. The pound of crab received high praise, and the lobster roll, loaded with lobster, is considered a standout. Mallards is known for its value and gracious service, with servers who are kind and attentive. While some guests have mentioned that the noise level can make conversation difficult, the overall experience remains positive. The lobster bisque is appreciated for being not too creamy, and the lobster quiche is described as nice and light. Although a few felt the grits were disappointing, the experience is generally enjoyable, with many recommending the fish and chips. Mallards is a place with delicious food and excellent service that deserves a second chance, and guests look forward to returning for another wonderful dining experience.
