First time we went there we asked DJ if we could have a sampler of all of the BBQ items as we wanted to try everything. He was very accommodating and brought out a platter of brisket, sausage, cole slaw, mac n cheese, ribs,pulled pork, wings and burnt ends. All were excellent. We have been back 4 times now and the food is very consistently great,. ps the brisket tacos are off the hook good!!!!! They also have 1919 root beer on tap!!!!!

At 7:00 pm they were out of ribs, chicken wings, and prime rib on a Saturday night. We decided to have brisket nachos and nothing else because they were out of the items we wanted to try. The brisket was dry. Server should have informed us when we sat down that they were out of these 3 major items on their menu.

We could bring our dog to the patio! Enjoyed the brisket & pork. Good, not the best I’ve had. Beers on tap were just okay for me - we like dark beers and zero choices (except Guinness) are common. Service was excellent & attentive.

My husband and I stopped for lunch Sunday afternoon. Our server was super friendly, and we didn't have to wait to long for our food either! We shared a 3 meat platter with 3 sides. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, and jalapeños sausage, with coleslaw, baked beans, and augratin potatoes. Everything was delicious! We've traveled the south quite a bit, and as such, have had some *really* good BBQ... so I am pretty picky when it comes to BBQ. Hudson's did not disappoint!! Very authentic Texas Pit style ?- everything had the perfect amount of smokiness, and was seasoned well. The baked beans and brisket were definitely standouts- but honestly it was all really tasty! They have a great selection of homemade sauces that were perfect compliments to the meat. We will definitely be back! If you're in the area, I highly recommend!
BBQ was great. The green beans were not my favorite. Mac and cheese was good. We had a ton left over and made great hash and eggs the next day. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Best food in the area. After mountain biking all morning, we stopped in for the best brisket and Mac I’ve had in years. Later on that same day, we came back for dinner. Not a joke. Twice in the same day. The wings, prime rib sandwich, and apple cobbler (all smoked by their expert smokehouse operator, btw, and that includes the cobbler) because we’re had to have more. Make the stop, you won’t regret it. Make sure you and your crew like meat.
Good BBQ nice baked beans and tater salad wasn't feeling the mac...7.5......maybe get some bread or cornbread or corn muffins i was happy....ribs, brisket & smoked whole wings...all fabulous sauce on the side...well seasoned plain... i live in Baxter I'll be back

This barbecue restaurant is excellent. They have entrees, sandwiches, and appetizers. Their bacon jalapeño poppers are the best, with a perfect smoky flavor. The prime rib sandwich with au jus sauce is fantastic.

Good food, good portions, great price ($3 for a hard Arnold Palmer Tea? Yes, please!). Had the turkey apple sandwich, which was delicious along with potatoes au gratin. Both paired well with the available house made sauces.
