Super friendly, great coffee and the best caramel rolls. Wish we had time to try more!
Nice place to visit with friends. The food was good, but not worth the price paid. A few too many visits and extra college loans would need to be taken. Not worth a 13 hour drive.
This place was very cute. Our food and drinks came out very quickly. However, the price of the food does not match the quality of it. I am too broke to afford, great success.

Lakes Fika is a charming and cozy spot with delicious breakfast options. It is the best coffee shop with great coffee and unique seasonal coffee offerings. The pastries are bomb, including a cinnamon coffee cake described as melt in your mouth, delicious, and a white chocolate scone with a nice crunch on the outside and a flaky biscuit like texture. The Mahnomen porridge is outstanding and phenomenal, and the wild rice egg bake is yum. The Lida signature drink is like drinking a cup of Creme Brulee, with flavors blended harmoniously. They also have the most incredible sandwiches and excellent menu options. The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing with a well balanced selection of music. There is a small shopping area to browse while waiting. It gets busy, so arriving early in the morning or on a weekday is recommended.
