Very yummy food! I have always had a great experience! They do not have an open kitchen on Sundays - so just be aware of that when going on a Sunday! ❤
I have always enjoyed the unique seasonal coffee offerings that Lakes Fika provides. Today, I split a slice of the cinnamon coffee cake with my daughter. We both agreed that this was the best we have ever had. Melt in your mouth, delicious!

Lakes Fika is a charming and cozy spot with delicious breakfast options. It is the best coffee shop with great coffee and unique seasonal coffee offerings. The pastries are bomb, including a cinnamon coffee cake described as melt in your mouth, delicious, and a white chocolate scone with a nice crunch on the outside and a flaky biscuit like texture. The Mahnomen porridge is outstanding and phenomenal, and the wild rice egg bake is yum. The Lida signature drink is like drinking a cup of Creme Brulee, with flavors blended harmoniously. They also have the most incredible sandwiches and excellent menu options. The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing with a well balanced selection of music. There is a small shopping area to browse while waiting. It gets busy, so arriving early in the morning or on a weekday is recommended.
