Stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday evening and was quickly greeted by a nice bartender. We grabbed a table and the server was alone in the place that was quite busy. She did wonderful until her help arrived. Cold drinks and great food. Definitely return here in the future.Dietary restrictions: Not a ton of GF options

Server was less attentive as she could have been . Distracted by her phone. Brisket was awfully fatty. Flavorful sides. Was sat on the way to the bathroom so was very crowded with people walking by and congregating by the

We love it here, had a new server today, we ordered one thing and got another. When we questioned it, they had wrote it down wrong. A bit disappointed, but the food is good. Normally no errors.

If you like salt on your burger this is the place for you. Both hamburgers tasted like the cook dumped a jar of salt on them. The server was great!

Spent a fall weekend in beautiful Brainerd and went out for dinner and drinks one night at Cowboys. We were totally looking for a dive, and we found exactly what we were looking for at Cowboys. It was a little busy, but the wait to get a table (at 7pm on a Friday no less) wasn't bad! Very typical dive set up and ambiance (simple tables and chairs-- easy to wipe down, move around, etc. Not a lot of decoration, but no real need for it.) For FOOD: Caprese burger (weekly special) The burger was really good and I would get it again! Came with mozzarella cheese, tomato, and a balsamic sauce. I upgraded my chips to the Mac and cheese and originally was going to get the beer Mac and cheese, but the waitress said their normal Mac was better. It came out and was literally kraft Mac and cheese... not sure what the beer Mac would have looked like! Overall this is a friendly dive, and you get what you expect, besides the kids Mac maybe.

The inside is pretty small, but they have a huge deck space, which would be really nice in the warmer months! We ordered pickle fries and cheese curds as appetizers and both were great! The pickle fries had a small hint of spice and the cheese curds were perfectly battered and the accompanying dipping sauce was delicious. For my main I got the Inferno Burger with sweet potato fries. Again, both were super good! The burger had a nice kick to it and the marshmallow sauce that came with the sweet potato fries was heavenly. The only complaint I have is that our server was a little pushy and then absent after taking our order. They didn't come back until we asked for the bill.

Great up north bar restaurant. Service was personal and friendly. Recommend the fish fry with hand cut potatoes wedges. My buddy had the steak which he said was OK. Big portions all reasonably priced. We also had the Buffalo shrimp, great flavor with mild heat.

Our first time visit. We walked in the door and the waitress welcomed us as if we were long time friends. I was pleasantly surprised the wild rice meatloaf dinner, special of the day, much better than I anticipated. Not a diner or bar meal, instead tasted as if made by a chef! Reasonbly priced. When back in town next year, a definite stop for dinner again. A new favorite.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

The servers run their butt off around here. They are friendly, hard working. Too bad the food wasn't as great as the service. I got the Cowboy burger, and the egg was over cooked, the bacon broke when I touched it. I asked for my burger to be medium rare. But I had a few bites of raw burger. My daughter had the Daisy Duke, and she said her sandwich was good.

The barbeque pulled pork sandwich was great and my husband had the Walleye sandwich which he said was very good. He said the bun was almost too much for the size of the fish. Also had the cheese curds before dinner. The reason I gave service 3 stars was because there was only one server in our section and it took forever to get our cheese curds and she was desperately to wait on at least 6 other tables. Would definitely go back again.
