“Was looking for a quick place to catch a beer and some "bar food' after a day on the lake, so we stopped in. Turns out we were wrong, this place served cold beer from a long menu, had the most courteous staff (were more than happy to deal with food allergies, with a smile) and then served us food that should have been in a top tier restaurant. To say the least we were more than happy and will always come back when in the area.”

“My son treated me to Ippin Ramen Sushi in Baxter, MN as a Dinner treat. We ordered as recommended by my son the Sushi and Ramen and Green Tea Ice-cream! All of this was for my birthday celebration! I was totally surprised and impressed 100%! Our waitress who is a young lady was so warm and friendly as well as very gracious , the entire restaurant staff made our day there so welcoming and inviting! We plan on coming back to celebrate my son's birthday as well! I highly recommend entirely to all who want to experience Japanese food in a very delicious way! “Pizza is amazing. Plain and simple, crispy crust, delicious ingredients. Quality is incredible. Customer service is always on point. My son left his very special and important Minecraft sheep stuffed animal there. He was very upset. The staff watched over the stuffed animal until my folks were able to pick it up on their way back through town. Made his day, and week, and mine. Thank you. Support this business and skip the garbage low quality pizza and treat yourself to something you won’t regret. These people and their food is special!!!”

“I came in today after not having caribou for a while. I used to get the refresher style drinks but they are no longer on the menu and wasn’t sure what to get, but Jamie was very helpful and polite, she recommended me a drink and it was very good. I got great service, and the other barista made my drink very fast and was also very polite. Great drinks and service :)”

“I stopped in around 2pm on 7/5 while heading home from up north (for a to-go order). They weren't very busy, likely because they close at 3pm, though it felt like they'd had a busy holiday weekend.

The staff was friendly & quickly helped show me on the dry-erase menu boards that a few items were no longer available for the day on their house specialties menu, including paninis & breakfast sandwiches (the BYO lunch menu also wasn't available). My husband had hoped for a breakfast sandwich, but breakfast ends at 1pm. I ordered the veggie wrap with cheese & ranch instead of mayo & avocado. They were skimpy on the cheese & ranch, but the ingredients were incredibly fresh, which made up for it (and because they were conservative on the ranch, it wasn’t soggy to eat half later). The full-size wrap was huge and it came with kettle chips & a pickle spear. I’m primarily vegetarian & appreciated having a filling option— it felt like a great value.

My husband said the mini glazed donuts were pretty good. I loved browsing the fun gift shop area, especially the greeting cards. It's only about a mile off Hwy 371, and I'd definitely stop back to try more of the menu and grab some to-go items.”
