“My husband and I finally got to the restaurant for the first time last night (Saturday.) I had the delicious braised short ribs and he had the cedar plank salmon. They were out of the sweet potato mash, and so I had to have potatoes instead. The waitress offered us a free dessert to make up for it but since I had given up sweets for lent, my husband enjoyed the lemon curd vanilla cheesecake. I told the waitress that I couldn’t have sweets until Sunday but because every Sunday is a little Easter and she so brought me another slice “to go” for the next day. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about mixed drinks and wine and we had a nice chat with him. He’s from Los Angeles as am I so we caught up on the scene in California. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a delicious meal!“
