“Amazing little spot for breakfast and lunch! I was greeted very warmly upon entering. My order was taken, and I took a seat. The food came pretty fast, which, from what I was told, the place can get very busy. But the home like atmosphere and the wonderful interactions make it all worth it. Every dish I had was delicious! My favorite is the chili and grilled cheese. The menu options change every day, so it never gets boring. They do have their regular menu items, but I love the variety. So, if you're ever in the Brainerd/Merrifield area, this is a must-stop! 5 stars!!“

“I have to say all the waitresses that were on staff today 8/2/24 from 4-6 while we were there were amazing. This was the first time we have had and seen great service staff here. I hope they can keep this group of staff!!“

“Great pizza, inviting little shop you could sit down at or eat out. Guys were friendly with me and had my order to go ready pretty quick. Eating in would get cramped fast in if it was busy but I'll order again from them next time I'm in Pequot Lakes!“

“I've not once had a bad experience for how many times I've ordered dinner. I love the side options you can pick up for cheese bread, desserts, and even salads. Their pizza toppings are always fresh and delicious. And you have to try their take n bake s'mores bars. I look forward to it ever visit.“

“We love Giovanni's and we're so glad to hear they had come back. We love their food and greatly appreciate the delivery aspect of the restaurant as well. However, we do wish they would stick the hours posted on Google and their doors. Sometimes we will find that they've closed a few hours early. Their buffet is also great but we find that when we go, they don't have any of the classic pepperoni, beef/sausage, or just cheese out very often. We love Gio's and hope to continue enjoying them often. P.S. the fruit pizzas are missed :)“

“Beautiful quaint restaurant with a nice selection of family style meals. Portion sizes can feed 3-6 people. We have the kiddos and 2 of their flatbreads easily fed them all. Loved the atmosphere - it feels like a little escape into some small European city. Bonus they had gluten-free options which is always a hit for me. The family enjoyed our visit as we were just driving through...we weren't staying at the lodge.“

“Always friendly staff, efficient and polite. The food is excellent. Building my own pizza is fun and very quick from order to eating. Highly recommend for a great place to eat. I take my wife there for mini dates. It's warmer mood for a date when it's dark outside.“
“So a guy from Pine City goes into this place and over a weekend, has new friends and a lot of fun memories. Just talking with the old timers and the locals. I can’t say enough about the bar, the bartenders, the karaoke and the locals that hang out as well as the out of towers like me. Would never think of going to Brainerd without stopping in“

“My family and myself have been going to the commander for many years. Suzi is our favorite waitress, and always remembers us. We usually come in a large party, and she handles us all with a smile. Very efficient. The food is also quite good. Service is quick and our orders are always accurate.“

“We always have the best app ordering/delivery experience with Nisswa Domino’s. Our orders are exactly how we like and the delivery guy/gals are ALWAYS pleasant and fun to chat with. And if something isn’t right or gets messed up, they always make it right, no questions asked. Always a great experience. 10/10 highly recommend!“

“I usually place my orders online to be delivered. This time I guess I messed up… I wanted a Gluten Free crust but selected a 10” hand toss instead. I didn’t realize until it was delivered, so I called to ask if that was my mistake. It was. But they took care of me and made a GF one and delivered it. I appreciate the efforts by this crew today!“

“What a fun coffee shop where you can Breakfast, Lunch and Supper. She has frozen or fresh that you can take home for work or a shut in person. My husband and I have split serval meals that we have brought home. Filled us both up. Very good there.“
