My daughter and I had dinner at Olde Brickhouse in Mankato on July 27th. I had the Brickhouse pasta, which is pasta with chicken, mushrooms and cheese with your choice of the Dijon sauce or maritime sauce. I opted for the maritime sauce. It was delicious and was a large portion!
My daughter had a burger that was tender and juicy, but not greasy! The service was awesome and the price was right! I can't wait to go back! Kudos to the chef!!
Wish I could recommend this place/dine here, but their food safety is a concern. Cooks didn’t always wear gloves when touching raw meat and then other menu items. Or if they refused to wear gloves they were supposed to wash their hands but I never saw that happen. I worked here awhile ago so hopefully things have changed. We waited 30 min for water. Then told him we had two small children who were hungry. He promised quicker service. Still took another hour for food. Gave him a $100 bill for a $53 tab. He magically made a math mistake shorting me $15 in change. When I tracked him down to call him out on it he surprisingly had exactly $15 in his pocket.
