“Last week I stopped in here for Mantorville Christmas and definitely wanted to come back and try it. Today we did and it did not disappoint. Unique menu for everyone. This place is amazing. The food is incredible and the staff and owner are so great. Definitely will be back to try everything else. Thank you for exceptional food and service!”

“What a treat! In a picturesque stone building immediately across the street from the famous Hubbell House, the Mantorville Saloon is a relaxed, laid—back bar with typical bar food to order. The walls are covered with pictures of local events and history, including a picture of an elegant stone building that used to be about a block away, which had most recently been a plumbing store. There is a very nice tent in the back for people who prefer to eat in the open air. Indoors is very nice, with ample room for social distancing. Ambiance might be typical of a century’s old bar, now with colored lights and televisions for those who want to follow the sports. For Viking’s games, there is a large roll-down screen to give everyone an excellent view.”

“We went for our one year anniversary. There were some ups and downs. One I would recommend the onion ring. Very fresh, large portion and homemade ranch was great. I would NOT recommend the seafood melt. It had those to tiny shrimp with veins still and just very fishy old taste. We both got the ribeye both cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. I got the augratin potato’s which are just cheesy hash browns Al little salty but still really good. The chopped salad was very minimal I’d get the soup next time. And a side of broiled shrimp. Wouldn’t get those again very rubbery and no flavor. My partner got the fries which he loved and the Cesar salad which he didn’t not. Over all the important part of the meal was really great. Could use a few changes but we would come back another time!”

“I am a little mad at Bear Paw! I had a Strawberry Banana smoothie and it was so good, that it ruined all other smoothies for me. Nothing even comes close to how good Bear Paw Smoothies are!!!! I usually pick up 2-5 drinks once a week and there was some confusion one of the times, but she was new I believe and hey mistakes happen ♥️ Now I really want to drive 2 hours for a smoothie”

The owners are so friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate special requests: they make a special (delicious!) white garlic sauce for my husband who has a soy allergy and remember us every time. We like the triple delight, the hot and sour soup, and the egg rolls the best!”

“Healthy Start has a large variety of shakes and I enjoy adding the lava to the shakes for added flavor:) I have been enjoying the shakes even when I don’t feel good and nauseated, they have helped keep me going. The teas are great as well for some added energy.”

“Just like grandma’s! As a person who has chosen a gluten free lifestyle, I miss out on some things. Banana bread no longer is one of my foods to avoid. I ordered the gluten free banana bread in mini and standard size loaves. Both exceeded expectations! Thank you for accommodating us folks avoiding wheat flours. Sidewinders as a side are twisted potato wedges.
Cold beer, pull tabs, etabs, frozen pizza to go and ice cream machine that can have booze added.
Worth a stop!!”

“2-12-24 - Kris had the Florentine pizza (spinach, sausage mushroom), and I unfortunately had the Mardi Gras special Jambalaya.  Kris said the pizza was a 8/10. My Jambalaya tasted good but was lacking in volume for $12.99. It looked like somebody had already eaten half of it by the time it got to my table. I won’t be ordering that again. 😡 Haley was a cordial and very attentive waitress. 9/10.”
