The Hubbell House offers a delightful dining experience, featuring a lively jazz band in the bar and a welcoming atmosphere created by attentive servers. The ambiance, with its rustic decor and historic wall hangings, gives guests a feel of stepping back in time to the mid-1800s. The menu showcases delectable dishes like the pork chops and the Bacon Jam Burger, made with a juicy blend of meats. Guests have raved about the onion rings being plentiful, light, and airy with a perfect amount of salt, and they are considered a must-try. The filet mignon has also received praise for being excellent. While some have noted that the seafood melt may not be advisable due to its taste, the ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. The au gratin potatoes are described as a delicious choice. The restaurant is steeped in history, and the elegant table settings add to the charm. Many customers appreciate the attentive service, with staff members making special occasions memorable. Overall, The Hubbell House is a hidden treasure worth visiting again, and it is well worth the drive from nearby cities.
