“We had the all-you-can-eat fish fry. We all (5 of us—some of whom are fishermen and women) thought it was very good! Batter was not greasy! Slaw was very good—as were the French Fries. We shared a carrot cake for dessert—also tasty—moist cake with wonderful cream cheese frosting.“
“Food is excellent, top notch Mexican-American breakfast cuisine. Service is quick and polite, free refills of good coffee. Ambiance is classic modern breakfast cafe, no surprises. Been a long time since last I visited Fat Nats, a Twin Cities landmark. Frankly, I forgot how good it is. Get here early, or be prepared to wait in line - but not too long, since they have lots of tables, and they work fast, making tons of food every day. Fat Nats is locally famous for their pancakes, which have extra vanilla and above average taste of yeast. They also make a variety of egg dishes, some delivered with their house salsa, which is a peppy, chunky red delight. They also have a green salsa, a blended tongue warmer. Don't get either if you don't like spicy heat. I love spicy heat. Prices without coffee are under $15, and you might need a container for half of it. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. Great food, great place to eat.“
“It's probably my most recommended place within a 100-mile radius, Food is amazing, and servers are always on point. I personally have been here dozens of times, and I have yet to be disappointed or find something I don't love on the menu. Not a single bad service day either. Just well done all around.“
“Always delicious, always yes. I absolutely love going here! They have an online reservation system that is great and user friendly. Quick at getting your food and drinks out to you and always has a cozy feel no matter what location you're at.“
“I can't believe I never heard of this breakfast place! Super cute and tucked into the back of a strip mall. Easy to miss. Great breakfast foods and styles of yesteryear, the other side looks like a bar with a bunch of townies, we'll have to check that out sometime!“
“I personally love diners and breakfast, so I'm biased. I live around town and I went for my first time on a Sunday recently. A really warm feel when you walk in, classic ceramic coffee mugs, traditional breakfast meals. I sat at the cafe counter so i was able to chat with the staff and it was an all around good experience; having a meal to myself, even in a crowded cafe! And I“
