“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.”

“Free wifi! (doesn’t appear that you have to order food)! If you want to dine in, unfortunately, the tables/booths are usually occupied with solo surfers. Only the drive-through seems busy. It’s like a library with coffee if you want that, or not.”

“Delicious fresh Mexican food, very good quality, better than Chipotle, family owned, dairy free guac, Mario (owner) originally made me some on-the-house cream cheese filled donuts, but I told him I'm vegan so he immediately went back and made me some buñeulo/churro chips with a raspberry dipping sauce. That is GREAT service that he in no way had to do, he is just that nice of a guy! The kids working there were very friendly as well and seem to enjoy their jobs and working for Mario. I wish there were more locations of this in the metro, but that makes it a treat to come out to Medina. I'd never heard of this place, and had passed by it many times before finally stopping in and I highly recommend it! You can get made to order vegan taco, burrito, nacho, and bowl options. Go, you will not be disappointed. Burrito Corner for the win 🌯😋!!!”

“We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! Wonderful blueberry rice sausages, eggs, pancakes, taco salad, hot tea, coffee, French toast, hashbrowns, English muffins, toast, and more! The decor is adorable! We're so lucky to have found this little cafe as we're from all around the US here for a wedding. It seems to be a local favorite as it was packed! Younger generations and older and everywhere in between! THE go to place if you live in the area or if you're just visiting! You won't be disappointed! Thank you for helping make our visit so wonderful! 10 STARS!”

“Had a pancake, two eggs scrambled, three sausage links, wheat toast, and hash browns. Pancake was good taste and bigger in size. nothing that makes it stand out to any other pancake. Eggs are eggs. The links are good taste, but again, nothing different from any other place. Toast was ok. The butter they used was not strong in flavor, so I would use jam with the toast. Hash browns are good and would recommend them they are crispy and are buttered. The amount you get is an ok amount. In total, it is a good place to go to if you're in town but not really one to travel to for great food.”

“Stopped by here to grab a boba while working and im so happy that I did! I got a black milk tea with medium sugar and boba pearls. I was instantly greeted by a warm welcome from Rod the owner and was told some of the history of the shop. Such a sweet guy! I also love that they support local charities through their food/drinks as well. Keep up the great work!”

“Say hello to Sarah (with an "H")...our new favorite waitperson at Lago Tacos in Minneapolis. We were visiting our son who recently moved into Excelsior & Grand across the street from Lago Tacos and after a long flight it was just a short walk to what is now our favorite Mexican restaurant. We had a wonderful lunch and great conversation & laughter with Sarah...she made our visit that much nicer! The Chips and Queso as an appetizer were spot on and the Spicy Grilled Chicken Tacos were cooked to perfection and very filling. We also ordered the Chop Salad with Shrimp which was amazing with perfectly prepared shrimp and great flavor. We will be visiting our son in a couple of months and will definitely be stopping into Lago Tacos for a meal. 10 out of 10 stars...thank you Sarah. See you soon. L, John & Jean”

“I’ve been here half a dozen times (parking is kinda difficult lately due to all the construction). I’ve brought friends here. I’ve had the best time, best coffee, and best almond croissants. Sitting outside - front or back - is always a treat. Now that my bicycle is fixed, I can come more often. Love this place!”
