Wooden Nickel Burgers & Brew is a solid choice in Marshall. The food is fresh and full of flavor, with generous portions and great menu variety. Fair prices and excellent food, though road construction makes it a little hard to get there. A downside is the partial menu; for the full menu, a QR code must be scanned with a smartphone. The experience is fun, with a great server who is very lively and has a great attitude. The selection of food and drinks is very big. The peanut butter burger with the parmesan fries is very good and juicy, and the chicken fried steak is also very good. Food is delivered fast, correct, and delicious. Breakfast eggs are as ordered, with crispy, hot bacon. Coffee is surprisingly delicious. Every server checks on customers, so they work together for better service. Bathrooms are clean. The menu is huge—around 8 pages—with tons of options. Portion sizes are just right.
