“We were passing through McGregor and stopped in for dinner. Our waitress, Audrey, was very kind along with the other staff. Great food and, honestly, the best walleye I have had in a long time. Definitely a place I would drive the distance to dine at!“

“Went to the Sandy Beaver tonight for dinner and drinks and had an incredible time. The drinks were Awesome (some Old Fashioneds, 7-7s and beer). For appetizers, we had the chicken wings, which were HUGE, had a lot of meat on the bones and the bourbon sauce was excellent. For dinner we had Bourbon and Bacon burger which was also excellent. All in all, a great dinner for the 4 of us and even got to spend some time talking with the owner Jim, who was very friendly and laid back. Will be back soon, as it was worth the drive up from Mille Lacs and the standard restaurants we eat at there. HIGHLY Recommend!“
