We were happy to be able to get here for their last day. Axels has always been a go to for us to celebrate special occasions. So sad they decided to close. This location is a hidden gem along the river.

This is a place where I love to belly up to the bar, get my wings, bull bites, a few martinis ? and then talk about how amazing life really is when you choose to look at it that way

We had a truly excellent supper. The walleye fish was excellent, and the service by Patrick was perfect. The manager came to ask if we were delighted or in need of anything. Portions are generous and service impeccable. Those who love nature will enjoy the outdoors patio right on the Great Rivers Bicycle Trail (stop if you are biking), whereas indoors it is a quaint upholstered old fashioned supper club, simply delightful and elegant. Date night? One could not score more points...
