“Parking: If you can't park at the restaurant there is another Lucky's parking area across the street.During the busiest periods you may have trouble finding spots in the two lots but generally you can still find a spot along the street and walk a little further.Tip - if church isn't in service you can get away with parking in the church parking lot.”
“Very nice restaurant with an old school lounge style vibe. Steaks, Walleye, Salads are very popular. The popovers you get with your meal are INCREDIBLE. Friendly staff. Parking can be a hassle but not much can be done about that.”
“My family and I went out for dinner recently, and on the whole, it was a good experience. Our server was attentive and made us feel well taken care of. We started with the onion and goat cheese and the beet pesto bruschetta, and both were fantastic. They really set high expectations for what was to come. However, when we moved on to the main courses, they didn't quite meet our expectations. The fettuccine alfredo was disappointingly bland. The cauliflower orange gnocchi, while innovative, was a bit heavy on the orange zest and was also dry. The mushroom agnolotti was good, though a tad salty for my taste.”
“In the heart of Tom's watch bar, where time's tale unfolds,There dwells a gem, a waitress named Amanda, behold. With grace she glides, like a dancer in the night,Her warmth, a beacon, igniting every sight. In her eyes, a twinkle, like stars in the sky,Guiding patrons through menus, with a gentle sigh. With every step, she weaves a tale so fine,Crafting moments cherished, like aged wine. Her smile, a sunrise painting the room in gold,Each dish she serves, a story yet untold. With every gesture, she paints a scene so grand,In the symphony of flavors, she lends her hand.Amanda, the muse of Tom's watch bar divine,In her presence, each moment is a sacred shrine. For in the tapestry of time, she leaves her mark,As the best waitress, illuminating the dark.”
“Great little restaurant. Very good food and service. Loud. Plenty street parking. Corkage$35. Good for a date night but conversation difficult because of noise level. Celery root tortellini were ”
“Love that it’s veggie forward - broccolini, mushrooms, others have us coming back for more! But that pub styler burger with dijon mayo is to die for and such a nice treat. The cake is delicious and outdoor patio in the summer is very niceDietary restrictions: Accommodating”
“With a relatively small menu, this establishment eliminates the potential concern of not knowing what to select. I was actually able to order a whole bunch of dishes under their dinner menu, which was great because I got to try a little bit of everything, but it also showed how much their portion was relatively small for the price, which would be a minus, at least for the entrées.Out of all the dishes I have tried, I will strongly recommend the beets, the piquillo peppers, the brick chicken, and the two desserts: Arroz con Leche and Tarta de Queso. The beets conquered the controversial earthy flavor by incorporating whipped feta, serrano peppers, and red wine vinaigrette. The piquillo peppers, by using goat cheese along with the peppers, achieved a new pleasant flavor profile. The brick chicken was both crunchy and juicy with the duck fat pan sauce, with the only caveat being that $29 for just half a chicken with no sides on the plate was a bit too much. And for the desserts, I don't have any additional comments other than that they had both flavor and texture. The cheeseburger was good in terms of quantity and price and definitely could serve as a solid option for many, but it wasn't something that one can't find elsewhere. Everything else I would say is solid as well, just not spectacular, but I still would recommend them to whoever is craving for, for example, fish or pasta or cheese.I know that this establishment has more items on the brunch menu and it seems like its brunch dishes may be some of the highlights, so I would love to return for brunch one day!”
“This is one of my Top 3 Favorite Restaurants in the Twin Cities metro. I've been coming here for roughly 7 years or so.It's a cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. They have outdoor seating when it's nice out. Sometimes there can be a line to get a table since it's a rather small place. Decor is basic, but you won't care with the good food, friendly staff, and cozy feel.Wednesdays are "Date Night" at the restaurant, so there are discounts. My favorite meal is the Saltado with steak/beef (you can also get it with other meat or vegetarian). I don't know if I've ever ordered anything different because it's so amazing! If you order it, make sure to mix everything in the sauce on the bottom of the place, and I recommend saving the tomato for your final bite, because it absorbs the most flavor during the cooking process and it's like a hidden surprise within the meal. The plantains are also delicious, and their Tres Leches is perfect for a light dessert to share if you're fairly full.If I had one complaint, it would be that their wine choices could be a little better, but I believe they're trying to keep cost-conscious options on the menu. I'm a big fan of Chilean and Argentinean reds. Their Argentinean Malbec is ok for its price-point; however, the flavor of the Saltado will far outweigh the need for a better wine, so I'm ok with the wine not being better. My wife almost always gets their Encocado with Mahi Mahi.Vegetarian options: All I know is that my favorite dish, the "Saltado with beef/steak" also has a vegetarian option.Parking: There is a small free lot (roughly 8-10 spots), but it's rather tight, so I recommend parking on the street unless you have a compact car. There's some street parking right next to the lot, or you can parking on the street around the corner past the lot and walk a little.”
“Another great night at Hyacinth! We recently went to French Night. As usual the food, drinks, and service was excellent. Perhaps my favorite restaurant in St Paul!”
“We are so lucky to have this beautiful place in Uptown. The hummus is entirely magical. And the food is delicious. We can’t wait to try it all!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a clear ramp on the side of the building giving easy access to the building”
“Food was delicious. One would need the open mind and the platelet to enjoy the wide variety of foods and flavors. Enjoyed a large meal and blood sugar levels were low after a large amount of desserts. This is just a WOW. Thank you ??.Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes with just sweet potatoes.Kid-friendliness: Small chairs and large tables to fit entire family.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp”
“We had such a great dinner here. Pickled cauliflower salad was for sure my favorite but everything we had was delicious! Service was fabulous! Our waiter had great recommendations and was lovely! Atmosphere is cozy, relaxed and just fun! Would highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: We had an early reservation at 5:15pm and there were a couple of cute families with young kids there too. Was very kid friendly!”
“I love this place. As far as I know there isn't a better breakfast at this price point anywhere in the city. Certainly not downtown. My Saturday morning ritual over the past 6-7 months has been to get two Cryin Eggys, eat one immediately and eat the second for dinner. They reheat surprisingly well (10 minutes in the oven at 350, then a 20-second blast in the microwave).”
“We've dined here many times and every meal is a unique experience. It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.”
“The food and ambiance was great. I was not disappointed by those aspects. My main issue was two things. My wife and I don't drink, and after we politely declined, the waitress became extremely pushy on the rest of the menu, trying to upsell us on our main courses along with ordering extra sides (we had already ordered 2), salads, and deserts. It seemed like we were a waste of her time because we weren't ordering alcoholic beverages. We had spent around $285 for the evening, so it wasn't like we were only ordering the cheapest options. The other was a first for me, which I felt should have been disclosed prior to the bill coming, which was that there was a 5% surcharge on the entire bill. I have not seen this before and was confused as to why there was a surcharge.”
“Pastie not what I expected and 1/4 of the fish had dark muscle running through it. Rest of the fish was good.Really nice servers and comfy place to hang out with a group.”
“Went here with my parents, wife and two children. The service was excellent, the hostess was able to get us a table even though it was quite full and we had no reservations. The food was great, delicious meat balls, manicotti, and seafood dish. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the ice cream which everyone loved. The portions were large and we had enough left over for 4 of us to have lunch the next day. It's no wonder why this place was so busy. The prices were very fair and reasonable.”
“Served family-style, we thoroughly enjoyed mushroom masala, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, peshawari naan, and a mango lassi to drink. Service was absolutely great. Vibe is casual and cozy - a great place to dine with friends over great conversation. We had plenty of leftovers. Highly recommend. ? I dined with my teenage daughter.”
“Love this place! Amazing pastries and coffee is always good. The owner is sometimes around too and always friendly. Staff is welcoming and the unique items they sell are always fun to check out.”
“The food was amazing. My boyfriend and I had a really good time eating every plate. The pizza but mostly the pasta and crudo. 4⭐️ because the music was really bad haha, nice restaurant but the playlist choice wasn’t what you expect. Btw didn’t take photos of the food.”
“great place with yummy food, vibey decor, and awesome staff. pricey for two people ($160 total) but i’ll be dreaming about the food until i get my hands on it again.”
“Incredibly delicious! The “KFC” (Korean bbq fried cauliflower) as a starter is scrumptious, and the Loco Moco with seared ahí is truly something to write home about. Must try!!”
“There's a new art and vintage vendor space called Bunside Market connected to here. They're open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday- nice to check out while you sip your coffee ?”
“My boyfriend and I had a little impromptu date night at Milly's yesterday night and the experience was wonderful. We learned a little bit more about wine tastes and had a great time doing it!”
“Friendly, fun staff. Food was made with care and was delicious. Great value for the money and a fun place to be. Wonderful American diner experience.Parking: Free lot with more spaces than the diner can seat. Also street parking for free”
“Most Ethiopian places in the twin cities have a really creepy and dingy atmosphere. Bole has a really nice atmosphere and good vibes. It’s modern and clean. And the staff are very friendly.”
“One of our favorite places in Minneapolis -- Everything is always delicious, their wine knowledge is top notch, and the space has a great vibe. Highly recommended!”
“Amazing food, super friendly staff - a must try! I ordered the O.G. wings, Naem Khao (Crispy Coconut Rice), Noakeo's Eggrolls, and Garlic noodles. My favorites were the wings and noodles. Both had a perfect balance of sweet and savory and even a little bit of spice. The rice was good, but crispy rice isn't my favorite thing. Delicious flavor and generous servings. We ate next door at wandering leaf which had lots of seating and I highly recommend digging in there. On Wednesdays, they have a deal where you can get 3 pieces of chicken wings instead of 5 and $2 off a beer for a reduced price. It was a little pricey, but I'd give it a try at least once.”
“Been here several times already, and safe to say this is my favorite place for breakfast in the Twin Cities and the best restaurant that's earned the James Beard award imo by far. My favorites are both the flap jacks and waffles, the hash browns, and the eggs; all made fresh to order! Love coming here each time for breakfast trying something new, or to get a usual. Service is always top notch. Very social atmosphere, and the staff is always happy to refill drinks, and help answer questions if you have any. Note that they use cash, and try to get here as soon as they open. Lines do occur, so plan accordingly if you need to wait.Parking: There are paid street parking spaces, and some free spaces to park in The Marshall Ramp, and the Identity Appts alleyway.”
“Great drinks, food, and speakeasy ambiance. Service was excellent, although a bit slow to start, maybe just short staffed that night. Live music was great, I enjoyed all of it overall. See ya soon!”
