Really fun place to grab a drink and some food. Something different for just about anyone available at Malcolm Yards, but this was our favorite!

The chicken was dry and it was not served with enough sauce- one little cup for four pieces.

The menu says that the Char Siu comes with jasmine rice. This is clearly long-grain white rice. The pork was also too fatty, but my problem is with the false advertisement. You should serve what you say you serve1/20/24:Came back with family to try the Char Siu again since the restaurant insisted this was jasmine rice. I still don’t think it is because it’s so crunchy ?‍♂️

The fried chicken sandwich rocks but its over priced. Get it, love it, and know you payed too much for it.

Drove out here to try it out and it closed at 8:38 p.m kind of disappointing. We were standing and looking at menu and they shut it off. Says it's opened til 10 everywhere, but the guy told us he was losing money being open I guess.... It's a Friday night so kind of strange.

Two of my favorite things to pair with beer are Korean food and American fast food. A new acquaintance and I ordered the Kimchi Slaw from Abang Yoli. It started with hints of the classic Southern picnic slaw and then finished with buckets of Korean flavor and enough heat to punch you in the face. In the best way possible. The Asian fries were perfectly cooked – not overly oily or salty, but just enough to know I was being naughty. I appreciated how the shredded leeks and cilantro smartly balanced the deep-fried wickedness. Abang Yoli stood out from the other vendors at “The Market At Malcolm Yards” with their Asian flavors infused into fast food. The Market itself was several tiers above a typical food hall with its festive casual atmosphere complete with beer taps and full-service alcohol vendors, making the experience memorable.

FOOD: This WILL be the best chicken sandwich you will ever have... I promise you! The chicken is soooo crispy, and not to mention massive. I went to the Malcom Yards location, so there are a lot of other food and drink options around as well. SERVICE: It takes a bit of time for the chicken to come out. You order at the counter and then wait for them to text you when your order is ready. AMBIANCE: The Malcom Yards ambiance is really cool! A great area for lots of people to meet and mingle. A hip/modern food court with great options. The patio is cool as well!LOCATION/PARKING: Location is a bit outside of the city, but there is a large lot for parking.

Quick service and delicious food! The chicken sandwich and cauliflower was absolutely delicious, great flavor and perfect cooked. I recommend getting the spicy version of the chicken sandwich, it’s really not very spicy but still

I visited Abang Yoli at their location at The Market at Malcolm Yards which provides lots of different seating areas. I went during dinner time, so the place was packed. Next time, I would sit outside since the noise was personally overstimulating. As for the food, I enjoyed the fried chicken. It was juicy but plain by itself. I imagine the fried chicken sandwich they're known for would be delicious but was hesitant to order since it's served on a milk bun, and I'm unfortunately lactose intolerant. The Asian fries had amazing flavor especially with the fried leeks and sauce. A little saltier than I liked but still very good with the fried chicken! It was fun to watch the cooks prepare the food! The staff here is friendly.Right now they're doing a promo for a free fried chicken sandwich (with a purchase of an entree) at their Nicollet location when you sign up for their email list. GO SIGN UP!!

FOLLOW me on Instagram and TikTok @no.table.mannersI just checked out @abangyoli at their 3749 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN locationChef Jamie Yoo brings you "Abang Yoli" which pays tribute to the unique bond between two Asian friends & colleagues, hailing from Malaysia and Korea. 'Abang' translates to 'brothers' in Malay, while 'Yoli' means 'kitchen' in Korean. Petty cool huh? and let me tell you this kitchen and pumping out some delicious food! My Menu -Kimchi Slaw, I could have ate an even larger bowl of this! - Bulgogi Short Rib (BAO) These things are so scrumptious you will want 3-4 of these no cap! - Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich,The spicy sauce is the way to go on this sandwich. A lot of flavor and a amazing crunch. ALSO IF YOU HEAD TO abangyoli.com AND SIGN UP FOR A FREE CHICKEN SANDWICH WITH ANY PURCHASE OF AN ENTREE ( ONLY AT THIER NICOLLET LOCATION)

Incredible and delicious food. The sweet potatoes (yes, sweet potatoes) might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. The short rib bao is delicious. Fried chicken is perfection.

We went to The Market to experience the hype of these canteen-style food markets on a Saturday afternoon. The vibe was great, people seemed to enjoy pouring overpriced alcohol from the station. Always a good sign that the place won't close up shop too soon.I chose to try Abang Yoli as they have the Char Siu, which they claimed to be authentic Cantonese char siu (fingers crossed). I just have to try it as I grew up in Hong Kong ?? and missed this staple food terribly.I got to say I was not disappointed and was actually impressed. The fried chicken was OK, it's worth a try but nothing too special. All in all, Char Siu was a nice dish with terrific flavors. Worth another visit for sure.
