What a fantastic restaurant. Came here on NYE for a quick bite before a party. Could not have been happier with this pick. Delicious appetizers and drinks, and when it came time to eat dinner, the food did not disappoint. A more extensive menu would have been nicer, and perhaps not over cooking the waffle or different batter would have made it better. The bacon flight is a must. The BBQ bacon is phenomenal as well as the French toast bacon.

The best thing to say about this place is the food was good. The Smokehouse burger was great. However, the service and the cleanliness dropped this score down.Granted I came on New Year's Eve, but the waiter was very unprofessional. Sitting around in the booth next to us, not giving us space to look at the menu and decide on drinks, etc. It was annoying to be frank.I ordered a hot tea and the mug had some sticky like glaze on a part of it and the amount of water in the cup was only 2/3 full.I had to flag the waiter down for some ketchup and then he brought me an insufficiently small dish of it.The menu selection isn't big and it's quite expensive comparatively.

Huge shout out to Winston for making sure my Beyond Burger was above board and making one of the best bloody marys I've ever had during a busy New Year's Day rush. It's not easy for a vegetarian to feel comfortable in a place named after bacon, but Winston killed it.

Think this place has a lot of potential, comfortable atmosphere, but they need a better chef. The bacon sampler is a must. Very good bacon, as it should be given their name. A standard breakfast “miners” is well, for the birds. Scrambled eggs were dry and almost seem like they used powered eggs. Then plan pancake is just that - plain. Lacks any flavor, is not fluffy at all. It’s dense and dry. Bacon tots were over done in the deep fryer. They should come with a dipping sauce. Very, very dry and lacked any bacon bits. Breakfast sausage is good, but spicy. Coffee is hot and decent. Overall, it’s fair, but pancakes, eggs and tator tots shouldn’t be that hard - I make them better at home. Not bad overall 1 definitely not a wow by any means. Keys and the Hen House would be a better choice.

One of the best breakfasts spots I've been to across the country. Lost a star because they gave my order to the table next to me that arrived after me - and thus I had to wait even longer for the order to be remade. Other than that, everything was great and super tasty. Will definitely come back should I visit Minneapolis again ?

This is a fun place, with pretty good breakfast/brunch and good service. The bacon chocolate chip pancakes were great, and the bacon tots are unique in a good way. I’d say you definitely need a reservation for breakfast or brunch, because we barely got in and had to sit at the bar. If we’d been 10 minutes later we wouldn’t have gotten in at all.The not-so-good: Portions are rather small. Also, the carrot cake pancake was legitimately awful, and I couldn’t tell whether it was supposed to taste like that or if someone had accidentally dumped excessive baking powder or vinegar in the batter, making it extremely bitter/sour. I couldn’t finish it, and this is coming from someone who will eat almost anything. That’s the reason for the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5.

Wonderful time and great food.Sausage gravy was awesome. Flight of bacon was a great deal. And the jalapeño margarita was excellent.Note the grits here are not true grits. Ask your server about that. But overall a great restaurant and experience.

Upon entering BSH, we were seated right away (we did have a reservation). Even though the restaurant was busy, our server was very kind and attentive. However, the food is where we found our experience to be lacking. We ordered the chicken and waffles, sweet potato fries, and breakfast sandwich with bacon tots. The fried chicken and the waffle were both very tasty, but the gravy is where I found myself confused. It was okay, but had a weird taste that I couldn’t quite figure out. I would order again, but possibly without the gravy. What we had the most trouble with was the bacon tots. They were a good size (about the size of a golfball), but they were extremely hard. Like they were in the fryer for too long. They also didn’t have much bacon in them. Maybe a couple of tiny pieces scattered throughout each tot? With a little less fry time, some more bacon, and a pinch of salt, the bacon tots would be a win!Overall, I would come here again if I was in the area, but would most likely order something else.

Excellent food - waiter was awesome - Bloody Mary was incredible…..The hostess needs help with her delivery - rude with sarcasm during first visit - back today and asked her a question - same delivery of rudeness. I won’t go back just because of her - not spending my money in a place where the customer doesn’t feel welcomed.May want to get her some customer relations training or don’t have her as the first person you speak with when coming into the restaurant.Again, food , drinks and waiter were all 5 stars - hostess was a 1 star at best.

A unique menu with really good food. Service wasn't amazing, but it was busy and I'm sure they are short handed like everywhere. So just a bit slow, but very friendly and willing to make suggestions. I will definitely go back.

A bacon flight. This is how you start your meal at the Bacon Social House. With a flight of bacon. I mean, need I say more? Ok, I will. Beyond the flight of bacon, I suggest you pair that with a mimosa, followed by a hand crafted bloody mary. And as for food, I highly recommend the burrito as well as the french toast. And then if they offer you after breakfast shots, take them. Delicious! Also, this is a great place to go before a show at the Guthrie.

So disappointed. I was looking forward to this visit for weeks and it was a total fail. We ordered old fashions and they were the worst we had ever had. Appetizers were cold and even the bacon flight was not great. How do you screw up BACON? Go somewhere else is my advice! This is crazy sad, I really wanted to like it too! Sorry guys!

I was here at opening time on a Saturday. Bacon Social house is connected to the Canopy Hotel next door. To find the restrooms, follow the signs on a wandering tour of the hotel. The restaurant quickly filled up at 9 am. I had a reservation. The restaurant has no touch menus. Point your phone at a qr code to get the menu. I checked the menu ahead of time and ordered right away. The boozy French toast and lemonade arrived a short time later. The French toast didn't have a strong flavor. It came with a few berries, real whipped cream and a small pitcher of maple syrup. The whipped cream , challah bread and arrangement on the plate took it a step up from a typical French toast. The menu said that there was bourbon bacon caramel included, but I couldn't taste it. The restaurant is located near US Bank stadium.

This place has a fun up beat feel to it but the food will leave you thinking this was a absolute disappointment. We got hear earlier in the evening, 4pm when we went to order we were told we could only order happy hour food and that the full menu is not available during happy hour. We adapted and over came the first disappointment of the meal. We order the sliders and poutine. The pulled pork sliders were beyond disappointing, the buns were soggy, the pork was beyond dry and overall I think my teenagers could have presented me something better and with more taste. The poutine was average, presentation was nothing special. I'm not saying avoid this place but I would look elsewhere before going here.
