Blue Door Pub Longfellow Reviews
I used to love the food at the MSP Blue Pub but lately the quality has been quite poor. Got a classic blucey and it was the size of a slider and vastly overcooked. The tots had been fried for way too long too. Had a hot chicken sandwich last time and it was also not good. They gave me 10% off but I’m thinking I may not come back. Bummer
I loved BDP for years, went to Longfellow BDP and was so dissatisfied in the burger, the main reason to go! My blucy didn’t even have cheese inside. Not to mention the ordering was so impersonal, and the interaction of the “local tavern” you used to go there for is gone. What a sad day to scratch BDP off my list of reliable goto burger pubs in the town cities!!

Blue Door Pub Longfellow is a popular neighborhood pub in Minneapolis, known for its friendly atmosphere and great food. It is especially loved for its juicy lucy style burgers and delicious tots, which many customers say are some of the best around. The restaurant offers a variety of authentic, homemade dishes, including burgers and chicken wings, that keep guests coming back. Visitors enjoy the great rotating tap list and attentive, friendly staff, making it a lively place for both quick bites and relaxed evenings. The kids menu includes Kraft mac and cheese, and the environment is kid-friendly with a big chalkboard for doodling. Parking is usually easy to find, especially later in the evening. While some find the shift to online ordering less personal and pickup frustrating, the tasty food and neighborhood vibe make Blue Door Pub a solid choice. It is well-rated for its juicy lucy burgers, tator nachos, and quality fries cooked to perfection. The restaurant can get busy during weekends and game nights, so there might be a wait, but the experience is worth it. Overall, it’s a neighborhood pub with a friendly feel and excellent food.
