Love this restaurant in uptown. The bluedoor burger is a must have along with the tater tot nachos. Just great food, great atmosphere. One of my go to burger spots in MSP.

Frankly, I'm pleased this establishment is closed. I think the ownership made major missteps when it came to hiring wildly unqualified staff and management. I came here prior to Covid and my partner and I were targets of harassment by the staff and management. Horrible service and mediocre food. This specific location is surrounded by fantastic alternatives if you're looking for a nice dinning experience. Consider the alternative options.

We had lunch with our family on a Saturday a while back. Drinks were 2 for 1. The burgers were one phenomenal, as always.

Love any trip to Blue Door and this trip was no different. The Lyn-Lake location is a bit smaller and not great for groups of more than 5-6 people. They have multiple happy hours and always have moderately/cheap priced drinks and apps which we love. This time we got the Latin Kisses which were some of the better jalapeño poppers I have had, and when you wrap anything in bacon you can take my money. We had the wings which can be hit or miss there based on the flavors. Anytime they have a exotic/diverse wing flavor I try it out and they have a solid buffalo wing. I had the Mt. Blucuvious which features ghost pepper cheese in the Lucy, fried avocado slices, bacon, and cilantro-lime sauce. This is a walking food coma which you need to be ready for. A lot of flavor is going on in this dish and it packs a spicy bite to it for some mid-westerners. Got the always generous portion of cajun tots as a side. Service is always solid here with good vibes and energy. A spot I like to take people to when visiting from out of town and they don't want your basic juicy Lucy experience.

Cool place. Comfortable. Authentic. Friendly. And delicious Blucys!

Great service but the burgers in my opinion weren't anything to write home about. Would I go again? Hell yah! But just cuz it's close. I want my stuffed burgers to be stuffeddd!!!

We came here when it was nice enough to sit outside, and I'm grateful we were able to sit down right away - place was packed. We had a super cool waiter and enjoyed the whole experience. YESSS to the totchos. We got the hella totchos which have ques, mojo pulled pork, corn salsa, cilantro-lime sauce, cotija cheese, lettuce, and onion. You can see from the picture that they are just loaded! Thankfully the tots were still crispy even with all the toppings. I'm very glad we got to experience these, but ended up having to split a burger afterwards because it was so much food! We went for the horsekick blucy (I'm a s***** for anything with horseradish.) It came with a blue cheese and cream cheese blend, onion strings, something they call a horsekick sauce, and au jus. Everyone was super happy with their burgers. I want to try them all!

The food here is decent, they do not allow you to customize orders. I had the Juicy Lucy with the ghost pepper cheddar and was denied an extra slice. Why deny me of the cheese? This deprivation of pepper infused dairy made me sad.

Blue Door Pub. I have been to three different locations they have around the cities. The food was good, and the staff was friendly. The location was a little small, but I didn't mind. When we first arrived, the wait was long enough we went to 'Up Down' right next door and played a few games, however if you leave, and your table is ready earlier, be prepared to get your name put at the bottom of the waitlist. That happened to someone waiting prior to when we arrived. We ordered a burger and a black bean burger. Only the Black Bean Burger comes with fries on the side. For the other burgers it is an 'extra' charge. The staff was busting their butts. We felt asking for our server to bring more water, or sauces, but he was very friendly and, 'on the ball', so to speak. I really enjoyed the burger, and their curds were decent. I'm not a huge cheese curds person, but I did enjoy them, felt like the state fair. Overall, I would come back here, but I'm also not a huge meat eater since I became a pescatarian but there are options for Vegetarian and Pescatarians alike.

The place was cool but our server was ridiculous. It’d be too cliche to write about what was done poorly by her so I won’t write much. What I will say tho is that instead of remembering to bring our lemons to the table, Annie was too busy taking shots with random customers. 130am CST March1st to be exact; just in case management wants to pull up cameras.

Awesome! The fried pickles, green beans, wings and jucy Lucy were all outta sight!

This place is generally pretty good but it's getting five stars because of the waitress Anna who is awesome. They have Burgers full of blue cheese similar to Juicy Lucy's but they call them blucys (blue seas). Beer selection is solid and prices are reasonable. Anna is the best :-) tip her well or Karma will come back to haunt you.

Really cool spot with a great ambiance. They have a nice beer selection and menu full of stuffed "Juicy Lucy" style burgers. I had one that was based on a Swedish meatball and it was delicious. I definitely recommend a stop by the Blue Door Pub.

One of the eateries offering stuffed burgers of high quality. We had the islander with tots and latin kisses to start. Both were tasty and would eat again. The burgers are on the smaller side if you are expecting a big patty.
