My only concern here is REALLY, REALLY SLOW SERVICE. There's almost always a line to get a beer, and it isn't fast. I play lots of pinball here and usually don't buy a beer because it's just longer than I'm willing to stand in line. I actually intend to not arrive thirsty. Oddly, there always seems to be employees free that don't serve beer. Maybe some cross training??? I understand that staffing is expensive, and you can understand that you usually get $0 dollars from me due to your choice.
Please bring back the Piper Classic. I'd endure a bit of a line for it.
Just left after celebrating a birthday🎈The place seemed understaffed but they made up for it with their personalized and conscientious customer service. We were outdoors, where we got some of the breeze from the river, family friendly seating, pet friendly atmosphere and a great place to make new memories.
Beer, food, atmosphere, and people were great! Must go back and try the vintage pinball machines.
6/8/25 Yesterday my wife and I decided to visit Broken Clock to redeem a free beer from our PupPass app. We were unaware of their Sound Wave festival going on so, we were excited to listen to some live music also. However, when ordering our beer we were told that Broken Clock was not accepting the PubPass today as they wanted to “streamline” everything today. Streamline?? What does redeeming a PubPass free beer have anything to do with streamlining? In any case, we purchased two beers. When receiving our beers, I noticed smaller pours and I asked our server what size were the pours. She stated that all pours were 12 oz, not the normal 16 oz. Over $14 dollars for two 12 oz glasses of beer is a little excessive to say the least. It just felt like Broken Clock was being a little too aggressive in making a profit for that day. BTY, we exited after we both finished our $7, 12 oz beers. Just up the road is 56 Brewery or around the corner is Indeed Brewery, both always have 16 oz pours and both always accept the PubPass
Drinks are fantastic. Based on those it would be a five. The truth is like many breweries this is a family friendly place. Somehow the parents of NE Mpls have convinced themselves they are different from their parents who took them to Dusty’s. It is really hard to visit this place. It is obnoxiously child friendly.
Great brewery, we were able to host a large party in the B Side Lounge, our bartender was great and attentive, the beers were tasty with a massive selection that was fantastic!
Fun little spot! Very community oriented

I really like the beverly selection and Pinball machines.
Great brewery cooperative with great beer. Can't wait for the taproom to open soon. Edit: the taproom is now open with a variety of seating options including a low top bar section. The taproom is inviting and the staff is very friendly. A variety of styles are on tap. Trivia on Tuesday, Bingo on Thursday, cribbage tournaments, pinball tournament, plus other activities. Lots of activities at this great brewery. The beer just keeps getting better too!
This place has good beer and a nice river back area.
But. They're doing this new thing where they are charging $8 for a beer with cash and $9.50 for the same beer with a credit card.
Look, I get it. Credit card companies charge fees. The fees are too high because they have a monopoly. They suck. Etc.
But come the F on. I'm not carrying around cash all the time in this year 2024. They're not charging you 20%. This feels like some kind of really unnecessary battle for a small brewery to fight. I just left. I didn't know to bring cash and I'm not paying $9.50 for an ordinary beer.
Broken clock brewing is always a good stop for a pint. This is a review for their event space and management.
I booked the B side lounge for a 55ish person event. The event management staff were easy to work and plan with. The space was cool and clean. On the day of the event, our bartender was awesome and helpful.
Everyone loved the space and I would happily use the venue again. Big thanks to the Broken clock crew.
Such a nice place to sit out and watch over the river if you can drown out the factory across the water. The inside is huge with lots of different seating, games and activities to keep you entertained.
