the food was quite good, though our service was terrible— we were stuck there for two hours while every other table were only there for an hour or so. it all felt odd seeing as everyone else had attentive service, while my date and i got next to none. the couple beside us got there 10 minutes after us and were done an hour before us, even with the same staff, while ordering more drinks and food than us. they didn’t even give us napkins or condiments until after we were done eating. i will not be coming back, it was very uncomfortable for us as we felt very singled out :(

Long(er): manage your expectations, then prepared to be delighted. My friend talked this place up as a speakeasy, and raved about the house Mac 'n Cheese. I ordered a simple plate, and they offered me a dessert when me and the entreé didn't match (nobody's fault).
Verdict: ain't a dang thing wrong with tasty pub fries, fluffy lemony cake and a scoop of ice cream for happy hour. Not one thing. Will definitely be back.

Most of the food was good, the exception was the burger. The pot roast was great. The server dropped the food and left before we could ask for condiments etc. When they came back to ask if we were ready for the checks, we asked for the condiments. He came back with the checks, but no condiments. He brought some when he came back to pick up the checks. Not good timing.

I ordered online and was given a time it would be ready. I arrived a little after that time and was told “oops, forgot to put that in…” after over an hour since the original order was placed, the food was finally ready. The woman who “forgot to put the order in” went out of her way to go around me and do anything else besides handing me my order. Zero apology. Zero anything from her. It’s unfortunate that one person can ruin an experience somewhere you’ve loved going for years.

The vibe was quite nice. My friend and I only surveyed from the booth side of the place, and I know there was karaoke going on the other side. Was nice, the servers were decently timely and kind enough to check in to make sure we had what we needed/ordered, and didn't rush us out the door. I wasn't SUPER over the moon the food quality, but would definitely go back to try something else.
