Food was not impressive across the board, best part of meal was the chips, salsa was probably the worst ive had a a Mexican restuarant. good vibe and ambience, decent margaritas.

Love the reopening of this nostalgic restaurant from my childhood. The all-you-can-eat chips and salsa are the best (I had to really discipline myself to not completely fill up on these!). I had the hibiscus fresca NA cocktail and it was fantastic. I ordered the carne asada tacos on corn tortillas (love that you can choose flour or corn) and they were really good. The corn tortillas were a little thick and chewy but that didn't impact the flavor at all. A small side of guac with my tacos was perfect. Our server was really attentive up front but then left us alone to enjoy our conversation, and again instantly available when we wanted our bill. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu!

Our appitizer was great. Our meal not so good. Enchiladas were in a pan of melted cheese. Way over cooked with barely any sauce. We did not know beans were not refried. Would not order again or recommend.

Totally average experience. I was excited to eat at ChiChi's having grown up going to its restaurants. That said, be prepared to be disappointed if you are looking for the experience that you remember from your childhood. The biggest bummer was the fried ice cream...it was SUPER disappointing, and not at all like I remember it. A lot of people are eager to go back to ChiChi's simply for the nostalgia, so why would you mess around with the original recipes and presentation?

The original Chi-Chi's menu items were exactly like I remembered them. The restaurant was very busy, I highly recommend a reservation for any party size. I hope they bring back the twice grilled burrito, and make the corn bread casserole available for all menu items. I can't wait for them to expand into Wisconsin, let's hope for their original Greendale or Brookfield area.

We waited an hour for our food. 1 order for seafood Casado came out as seafood chimichanga. My chicken chimichanga came as pork. The take home order we put in, that was supposed to go to the kitchen after we got or meals. It came out before we got our food and was a chicken sandwich, not the rib we ordered. We assumed that was super to be my chicken. I had the take out. On the bright side our waitress was wonderful. And the manager comped our meal.
Our server was lovely! Made great recommendations and checked back in to make sure everything was OK with some picky food preferences that I had. Highly highly highly recommend!

Got seated in a very drafty area with cold air coming in. Asked to be reseated, which the hostess acknowledged and then promptly forgot. The server was barely around to check on us. Food we ordered took 40 minutes to be served (people who came in after us were served). I think the server forgot to put in our order until we reminded the manager who we had to flag down. The food order was mostly correct (spanish rice instead of the sweet rice). However, I was not too impressed by the flavor of the food. Nothing that I would want again.
