Curioso Coffee Bar: Uptown

Cool place to have a latte on a weekend afternoon. It’s clean, quiet, and customer service is good. Across from a bookstore and near cool thrift shops and a boba place.

Curioso has quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. Great drinks (try an iced Gingersnap!), some light pastries and snacks if you need, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Super good coffee. Roasted with care, you can tell by the quarts of whole beans that they sell.
You can tell that they roast with care and artistry. I appreciated they had two decaf bean options for those moments you need to dial back the caff.

Friendly and helpful staff. Big open space with a comfy area to sit/work on your laptop. Great wifi in the twenty minutes I was there! They were also playing nice atmospheric music. Being in a quiet spot in the mall entry area is nice but can be a little sad for those uptown veterans who remember more life.
This place is a gem however, and deserves to be part of a new uptown. Try it out!

Curioso is a great spot to grab a delicious coffee or chai! There is nice seating inside to meet with someone or get some work done, and it’s a great spot for coffee during events in Uptown or at Seven Points. They also have a bookshelf and a community board with postings for local businesses and upcoming events.

I attend a knitting group on Monday mornings and I always get their green tea. I appreciate that they have a selection for non-coffee drinkers! The atmosphere is great, I love saying hi to all the dogs, and the staff has always been awesome! I love this place!

Awesome specials, great location. Owner is really nice. I like the creative coffee specials and in house Italian soda, sweetened to your preference

Coffee is amazing! Only one barista on staff but she killed it and we didn’t wait for too long despite the line. Prices are very fair for the high quality coffee. Will definitely be back! And dog friendly 🐶

Wanted to visit this coffee shop. Tried to enter through the main doors on Hennepin. Oh, these doors are locked until 10:00, even though the shop is open at 7:00? You want me to walk all the way around the building to enter through the other side of the building? No thanks — I’ll just go to the other cafe across the street.

Super chill location with friendly staff. The specialty drinks are always delicious, I recommend the Clove and Orange Latte! And they have sustainability options for reusing containers for beans and mugs. I love to go and grab a coffee when I can, it’s always a treat!

If I'm paying $9 for a vanilla latte it better be the best latte in the world. Unfortunately mine tasted like the espresso was burned, it was truly un-drinkable and I ended up throwing it away. Two stars because the employees were rad and they're dog friendly. I wish the coffee was better! Maybe it was a one-off bad experience? But also it's really expensive compared to other coffee places in the area.
