Curioso Coffee Bar: Uptown

I’m really glad to see a worthy successor taking up the portofilter from Dogwood. Curioso is a lovely, relaxed spot to grab a coffee and a bite to fuel your browsing at Magers & Quinn bookstore across the street. And with a pourover selling for $3.00, you’re not likely to beat this pricing at any other independent coffeeshop in town. I’m looking forward to stopping in whenever I’m in Uptown!

A true artisan coffee shop! If you need whole beans, drinks or food this is the best place! The staff is knowledable and so nice! The location is down-to-earth and community-focused! Highly, highly recommend you try any of their coffee drinks because they are all top-tier! I love to go atleast once a week as a treat to myself. I've definitely used up my punch cards over the years! I've been a fervent customer since they opened a few years ago!

I’ve been to Curioso Four or five times now, and it is quickly become my favorite coffee shop.
In fact. It is one of the best in the cities. I had a coffee with a shot of espresso. All coffees are ground in front of you poured over. Delicioso.

Cool, curious coffee place. Located in what once looked like a bustling mall, this cool locale serves it hot or on ice! I really enjoyed my iced Mocha, and their branded merch. The price was a few dollars overpriced, however the quality was great! I would try it every once in awhile, think Starbucks prices with less coffee. Will come back at some point in the future. The best coffee shop located within the next 5 mile radius.

This is a seriously cool vibe, and I absolutely LOVE Aaron and the baristas here. Try the ginger snap latte which is perfectly not too sweet and the handpies for breakfast. Let’s bring Calhoun Square back (new name?)

We already made our 3rd visit after we found it two weeks ago. There is only one staff typically so service can be slower than a franchise store but we love their coffee drinks and coffee beans. The staffs are always nice. We will come back again and again!

I love this place! They sell roasted beans in reusable glass jars, so I can just pop in for a refill and feel great that I’m not using so much plastic.
