A couple of buddies and I stopped into Day block during our trip to Minneapolis for the weekend, I do have to say, so far it has been the best place to grab drinks and well as a bite to eat, outstanding environment, and very helpful and welcoming staff for out of towners, will make this place a sure stop each trip up north!

The outdoor patio is partially shaded and our dog was welcomed. They make a lovely old fashioned and the salad was delicious. Nice to have such a long-standing restaurant/bar in the neighborhood. Looking forward to longer open hours!

I think the best part of this place is their outdoor patio especially being in the middle of the city. Their Greek goddess pizza and a glass of Citra were great.

Terrible experience. Super slow service. All of our food came out at different times (more than a few minutes between dishes coming out) and they appear to have minimal staff. They got my order wrong and I ate alone after my family completed their meals (despite eating slow to wait for me). Would NOT recommend.

Loved loved loved working with this venue for a private post wedding brunch! The food is phenomenal! Minneapolis is lucky to have this treasure. Of course everywhere is having different issues as we adjust to life after a pandemic but Day Block is one of those businesses you want to support!
