My experience was average. The drinking glasses smelled very eggy and I had to ask that they be switched out. The food was not anything special. Yes it is Hmong food, but it’s common Hmong food served in a fancy environment. The food was good, nothing bad about it, nothing special either. I expected more.

I absolutely ADORE this place. There is not one item here you’ll regret ordering. I will say that I truly miss the chicken sandwich as it was a wonderful halal option for me. They still have the chicken noodle soup, though, which is delightful.
My go-to bev order is a hot red bean latte with a shot of espresso. I crave it often!
The pastries…you must try them all. The crab Rangoon danish is a beautiful addition to the menu and I hope it’s here to stay. Same with the mango lychee passionfruit croissant.
The veggie eggrolls are not your average eggroll. They are STUFFED, and the filling is so so delicious.
I love that this place is booked and busy because they truly deserve all the love. The staff here are so kind, and everything tastes like it’s made with love. I will always recommend Diane’s Place.
Eating at the picnic are in the back means you order at the counter and then the food is delivered. The chicken noodle soup was otherworldly. Delicious. Rice noodles and incredibly flavorful seasoning in the broth.

Diane's Place is well deserving of all the praise it has received. The wait staff was wonderful, and our waiter was charismatic and explained the menu in wonderful detail. I'm so sorry I forgot your name, but the older gentleman with glasses, you were awesome.
Highlights of our meal were the short pork ribs, which, with the lime squeezed onto them, tasted amazing, the pan-fried noodles with pork were also delicious, the pork was made in such a way that I didn't even recognize the texture as pork, it was by far the most impressive pork I've ever had. The sausage, their highlighted dish, was loved by our whole table, the spicy Hmong sauce added a strong and swift kick of which I was very fond.
