“Giving this review 4 stars because i love the venue and i allways have an amazing time exept for one of the bartenders
Last night I attended Tunes for Tots and she was in a red shirt with glitter on her face and was drinking on the job with an extremely rude and hostile attitude. Last night there were numerous people being respectful and trying to have a good night and she was extremely rude. This wasn't just last night because she was bartending all summer at Taco Tuesday while doing all the same things but one of the most notable intances is when it was over 70° and there is a city ordinance that states you are not allowed to charge for water when it is that hot out in Minneapolis and she was charging for water (up until that point water was allways free there) a d when she was confronted on this she became very hostile. There is many more stories through the community about this bartender from many different people. I love the cabooze and it is one of my favorite venues and it is sad to see bad energy like this ruin the experience.“

“The Jucy Lucy really is what it's cracked up to be. It's a little small, if you're a big eater, order two. The whole basket of fries was enough for 3 hungry people but I left a bit hungry still. The food takes a while (Jucy Lucys take longer than normal burgers) so I chose not to order a second due to the wait. The fries are very close to what you would get at McDonalds - in a good way.
Honestly, I kind of love the vibe of the place. They won't seat you until everyone in your party is there, which makes sense since it is such a small establishment. As long as you know this ahead of time it isn't an issue, but when it's sub-zero outside be sure to find a warm place to wait if you don't have everyone with you. Don't make the mistake we made by sitting in the booth near the door. Even with the second interior door it gets cold sitting there in the winter.
Overall this is one that anyone who loves burgers has to try at least once. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, but it's worth it.“

“I meet some guys here once a month and the beer is cold, the vibe is consistent, the g&ts are strong and the burger and tots are delicious. Make sure to ask for Mary’s secret bbq sauce. Great value. Pool table and golden tee machine on premises too!“

“They donated Chicken Wings to a homeless shelter and the people living near this place should support them all the way. Just think how good the wings are when they are made by people who care! If you want to go out go tie Spring Street!“

“I have tried just about everything on the menu at Bina's. The Bina Burger (Smashburger) is a two patty wagon burger....SOOOOO YUMNY. The Tendiemelt is enough for two people to share. And the Grilled Cheese has 5 chesses/spreads and pairs perfectly with the tomato soup. stop in and give your opinion.“

“Burgers are great, just well executed old school bar food. Staff can be spread thin but usually it's not their fault and they're always friendly. Tried their fish and chips for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, crispy fish and great tartar. Over all it's what you would expect out of your local minnesota dive bar.“

“Normally this rating would be a 4, but because of one live performance here, it’s gonna be a 5. I recommend coming if a band by the name of Sea Foam Green Tangerine is performing. Completely made my night last time I went, and I plan on going next time they perform. Larry isn’t all bad like some reviews claim, he was a pretty chill guy during my experience.“

“Moose Bar & Grill in Northeast Minneapolis has quickly become one of my favorite bars in Minneapolis, thanks to our waiter, Alaina (I’m not sure if that’s how her name is spelled). From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to make sure we had a great experience. She knew the menu inside and out, offered spot-on recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without ever hovering. Drinks arrived quickly, food was hot, and every request was handled with a smile. Alaina somehow balanced efficiency with real personality, making us feel like regulars on our very first visit. When the place got busy, she stayed calm, organized, and upbeat, which made the whole night run smoothly. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and cares about customers in a way you don’t see often. Management should know that Alaina is a standout employee who elevates the entire restaurant. Give her a raise, because she’s exactly the kind of server that keeps people coming back again and again on every visit without exception.“
