I was so saddened by my recent visit here. I used to come here for happy hour after class, and had nothing but the best experiences. The place has a depressing, under-staffed atmosphere now. The food was dismal (if you're not going to change up the menu, make sure you're still doing your classic dishes WELL), my dirty martini sucked. Even though the waiter handled it well and was polite, I could tell he was overwhelmed by how under-staffed the joint has become. The food and atmosphere are in desperate need of improvement -- give this place the passion it deserves and once had. And put some damn art on the walls and interesting music memorabilia-- it gives us more to talk about than how depressing the place has become.Hire me, I'll get this place back into shape! I cook and have serving experience (and hate my current job)!

We visit about once a month and usually everything is fine. Yesterday, not so much. The food was okay and the service was good but the two guys at the bar apparently have been drinking for hours. They were so loud and the language increasingly offensive that we decided not to get dessert and left early. And this was at 5:30 p.m. Yikes. Not sure if we'll be going back anytime soon

This is my favorite pre-theater hole -in-the-wall. Nothing fancy, just a nice, inexpensive neighborhood joint. If your hearty, you can even park on the street for free (or next to nothing), and walk the free blocks to the theatre district.But shhhh! Don't tell everyone! ?
