Good beer, attentive service, and nice patio to enjoy during COVID era. I bought three crowlers only to find out a 20% surcharge existed to support employee benefits. Though I can appreciate the cause, it came as a surprise and felt a bit like a bait and switch.
Fair State is a treasure! Beyond being one of the consistently most excellent breweries in Minneapolis (especially for lagers), their pandemic response adaptations are unparalleled. The recent embracing of worker organizing simply sets them over the top as a place I want to keep returning.

The beers are delicious, but me and my friends were so disappointed to find out that they no longer allow dogs inside. The bartenders were very accommodating and did let us walk through to their patio in the back. Maybe update the FAQs to avoid confusions?
