This was the worst food we have eaten. There was no flavor.. not even close to Mediterranean food. All the sauces are just mayonnaise which tastes disgusting when you go into a place expecting the food that has some relation to its name ‘ falafel king’. Please do not waste your money here. This was B.A.D!!

So delicious! We got the garlic chicken pita and the gyro pita, both were so flavorful. This is one of my new favorite local spots!

This place saddens me.... I've been coming here for atleast 10 years and it WAS so good, when I moved back to MN after 2 years this was the first restaurant I came to and OMG it is absolutely horrible!!! Spent $50 and literally threw over half of it away, go somewhere else, there's so many other options ?

Weekend lunch stop @falafelkingmn ! Known for their delicious variety of Mediterranean Cuisine, the flavors are amazing. Stop by one of their Twin Cities locations if you haven't yet! * Beef & Lamb Shawarma Plate

Delicious food, friendly service, very clean, and great prices! The fried eggplant and fried cauliflower were especially delicious!

Falafel King is the best falafel I've had in my entire life. Some of the best vegetarian / vegan food in the twin cities. I'm not sure if the sauces are vegan or if they have a vegan option but I know my friend who is vegan used to go here all the time so they must have figured something out.

Nice place, tasty food, friendly service. Have only been here a few times but plan to come back. Awesome gyro sandwiches and lamb burgers. Only nit-pick is, all the lettuce stuff in my last order wasn't really fresh/a bit wilted. Everything else was great though.

The gyro meat and chicken kebabs are amazing. I love that they list gluten free stuff so I know I'm safe. Good food.

gyros are one of my favorite foods. i've ordered from this place online about 4 to 5 times and each time i was pleased with my order. i would order extra sauce though because e they fill the gyro with so much meat (in a good way)!! i love this place!!!

The falafel was great but I got a sample plate and it was the only thing edible on the whole plate. Everything else tasted off. Including the hummus so I suspect I was given food that had been sitting out since before this morning. I got there twenty minutes after they opened and my salad has pink on it which we all know only happen when it's been sitting out for a while. Had to have been more than twenty minutes so it's either from yesterday or older.

I ate here with friends approximately 7 years ago and loved it and I also used to eat at the original Falafel King on lake and Lyndale. I ordered food tonight from here through GrubHub and hated itFirst of all, the Shawarma was the worst meat in the world. Very tough, very chewy and indigestible. The Falafel is dry, the Kofta Kebab is also chewy and flavorless. I will never order or go to this place again. I don't know what they're doing now but certainly it is not the same restaurant it was seven years ago and definitely it is not like the original Falafel King quality that was on Lake Street and Lyndale. This is a sham and is not real Middle Eastern food. Save your money and go to Mim's Cafe or somewhere else. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT EAT HERE.

This is my second visit/review, this time I tried a gyros/filafel combo. My impression is basically the same as my first visit (for a gyros sandwich). This is decent, edible, fast food but it lives in the shadow of better choices including the Holy Land on Central and Athens in Robbinsdale. The gyros was, well, gyros. Not a huge quantity but adequate and about the same flavor as you get other places. Hummus was good; tart lemon and chickpeas. I would have preferred a little more garlic but others may not. The two filafels were good; nice and crisp outsides and moist inside. The plate included some pinkish-colored cabbage salad. Maybe pickled, maybe just vinegar added. Viewed as coleslaw it was fine. I've traveled in Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and the West Bank and Israel. I don't remember any mezzes that included this kind of salad, but it would fit as a mezze dish. The single pita was a disaster. I think it was a day or two old, as it came wrapped in Saran and water had been added -- probably to resurrect it. With the water it was maybe like tough but soft leather. When the water evaporated, it was hard leather. And only one? Dipping hummus takes most of one. A couple of small gyros sandwiches takes one too. So ... Yelp says three stars means "OK." Yes, that's about right.
