It's been a while since I've been to a coffee shop where I left disappointed. It was pretty busy, but we waited 20 minutes for two coffees. My wife got a chai tea latte that had only a suggestion of chai, and I got a caramel latte that burned my tongue due to oversteamed milk. The monkey bread and almond danish were pretty good, but only after we took it home and warmed it up. I'd definitely recommend many other coffee shops in the area over Rustica. Fun breakfast option west of Uptown. Stopped by here on a Saturday morning ~9:30 to catch up with a friend. Boy was it packed, all the seats were taken. Take a note and have one of the party stake it out, since seating is at your leisure. The pastries greet you on the right with the drink menu straight ahead. I love to stop here when I'm nearby. The bittersweet cookies are beyond delicious.Their coffee drinks have a more mild flavor, but the ingredients are high quality. The store has lots of tables and seating, though it's tight for standing space if you're opting for to-go. The staff are kind and quick.
