Excellent neighborhood cafe. My lunch was delicious and the service was top notch. I’m looking forward to coming back for coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

Fireroast has easily some of the best cafe food in the Twin Cities. Their breakfast sandwhich and chicken salad sandwhiches are my favorite. I've also loved their baked goods.

Being Southside raised Southsiders who frequent local coffee shops. We really wanted to love this spot but we’ve been here 7 times and not one time has the order been correct. I’ve been given the wrong lattes. The wrong sandwiches. My friends and I have been charged incorrectly. I tried to give it another try and placed a to go order. While waiting I get my chai latte and it’s completely tasteless and cold. Then they let us know they are out of brie and my friend has to choose a different cheese for his spinach brie quesadilla. When we get handed our food the employee says“thanks for the tip”We get home and the soup was cold and only broth. The breakfast quesadilla that I ordered with no onions was saturated with raw onions and the peppers were uncooked and cold. Each time I have been here in the past I have tipped 20%. Feeling left disappointed with mistakes and mediocre service and food. Keep in mind this is a to go order with one cafe beverage. Today I looked at the screen and did a customized tip of $3.00. Knowing I had cash in my pocket if my service/food was correct. Maybe that tip influenced the way my food was prepared but the service and food wasn’t any better in the past when I tipped 20%. We’ll just never go here again.

Fireroast has this incredible vibe. They've nailed the atmosphere, despite a relatively small space, with brightly lit counters for catching up with friends and comfortable tables to get work done on your laptop. I only had their drip coffee which was a delight but want to try other drinks and food on the menu next time. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for a muffin and chai. Staff were very friendly and patient as we reviewed the large menu. Ordered a pumpkin muffin - moist and delicious. Chai was pretty good too.Parking: Plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood

This is my local coffee shop, and overall I love the warm vibe and the tasty food options. Unfortunately it isn’t always a realistic place for me to get work done, because the smaller second room has no outlets for computers. I have an old computer that absolutely has to be plugged in to function, so if I arrive and the main room is full (where the outlets are), I end up having to leave. I would love to be able to support my local spot and bring more business, but I just had to bring a friend to another coffee shop due to this happening again. Kinda bummed. Please install outlets!Parking: Lots of options and a quiet neighborhood

Quaint coffee shop in a neighborhood. Easy street parking. Good coffee and excellent breakfast options. Decent seating inside. Solid stop.

What an AMAZING spot!! I won't lie, I've lived up the street for 5 years and never stopped in and a little sad I've missed out. Super friendly staff, great options and good prices. I've stopped in last few days now and even met the owner Jeff (super nice guy!). The food I've tried is great including the breakfast sandwich, burrito and a few baked goods. Coffee is top notch. All around they have themselves another loyal customer (had about 3 regulars right behind me haha)

Stopped in on a cold day. Ordered Wild rice soup, it was served cold. I returned soup and said I hope I don’t get food poisoning. Small business can’t afford to make these kinds of mistakes.
