My favorite restaurant in Minneapolis! I’m so happy they opened a second location. The vibes are immaculate and the burgers remind me of In&Out without the animal cruelty! They have incredible milkshakes too and brunch options. So lucky to have this gem in Minny!

What a DELIGHT to have this in Longfellow. This is THE PLACE to come for some good food. I am a meat-eater and loved everything I ordered (from the buffalo fries to my chicken sandwich and vegan milkshake). Don't let "vegan" scare you from trying them out — truly some of the best food in the city. And the milkshake won't leave you feeling bloated! Plus, the staff is AMAZING and the environment is out of this world. Easy parking for those who don't have the pleasure of living within walking distance!

Blown away that everything was vegan—it tasted so good, you’d never guess it wasn’t!
Spicy Fried Brussels Sprouts: These were a standout! The tangy sauce was evenly coated on every bite. This is a must reorder. This wasn't on the physical menu, only online, but they were very accommodating.
Francis Burger: Super juicy and filling, the cheese added the perfect touch of saltiness. The fries on the side were crisp and perfect.
Spicy Hunny Dijon Chicken Sandwich: The chicken was tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spice—manageable and flavorful. The coleslaw added a nice, refreshing crunch, making it light and easy to eat.
Small Cone Twist: The soft serve was smooth and standard. Not a game-changer, but a nice way to wrap up the meal.
Service was top-notch—friendly and very attentive. This place is definitely worth a visit!

What’s not to love? It’s so wonderful going to a restaurant and being able to eat everything on the menu! What a treat.
While I’d previously visited Francis’s Northeast location once, it always felt too far away to frequent, and I’m SO happy there’s a south Minneapolis location now!
The vibes are incredible. It was bustling on a Wednesday at 6:30, and I hope it stays this busy! Everyone was in high spirits, and the decor was fabulous. Loved the pink booths, backlit bar, and neon burger signs. The playlist was great too.
Francis has found the perfect niche. There aren’t many fully plant-based burger spots around (if any?) I remember a restaurant called Stalk and Spade, but I think it’s Minneapolis location closed, and it’s food wasn’t made with as much love as Francis’s meals.
My husband and I split a decadent strawberry shake with super thick and creamy oat whipped cream. My baconator with fries was so indulgent and deluxe, and my husband’s juicy lucy was just perfect.
Our only gripes were that the fries were slightly undersalted and the baconator could’ve used some pickles. Tiny issues that could never overshadow such a perfect meal.
We were in and out of there in about 50 minutes, which felt like the perfect amount of time!

So good!! Francis = Fantastic! The food, service, and vibes were all amazing! I would highly recommend the francis burger (only 12 dollars for a burger and fries is a STEAL) and adding on one of their sauces - the berbere aioli is SO GOOD! I was also super impressed with the non-alcoholic beverage I got (Here comes the sun) - so flavorful and only 7 dollars.
Cannot wait to go back again and again! So excited to have such a delicious plant-based restaurant in this part of town!

When I arrived at Francis East Lake, I found that they had only been opened for two days. I was mighty impressed! Despite the fact that the dining room was largely full, this place was an efficient, well-run place. We were promptly greeted and seated. We were immediately given a menu and had multiple people talk with us. The food and drinks were quickly served. If I didn't know that this was a vegan restaurant, you could have fooled me. We had two different types of burgers...both excellent. The fries were excellent too. We were very pleasantly stuffed! Their base burger is $12. I had the loaded Juicy Lucy which was $17. Both came with fries. They automatically add a gratuity and don't even have a line for a tip.
