Super reasonably priced food for a bar in Minneapolis. Has a nice home-cooked vibe. Friendly staff.

I’ve been coming here for shows for many years& always had a lot of fun. There was a female bartender with dark hair that was the best bartender, I think her name Dalinda? Or something like that-she was a peach! But last time we went there we had horrible customer service. My husband& I sit down at the bar& it’s not busy at all. A bartender is standing right in front of us, as we sit down, he’s working on some drinks, looks like a pitcher & he’s pouring shots. So we sit there& he completely ignores us, even though we are about as close as anyone can be to someone. He’s also having a conversation with some guy, that’s sitting right next to us. Just really rude. Finally, I ask, “ are you serving people?”& he’s like , yes, can’t you see I’m pouring drinks?”& I say, ( I’ve had 20+ years in the service industry, as a server& cashier) “Well, I was taught to say hello to customers when you see them, especially if they are right in front of you!” Like how hard is it to say, “Hi, I’ll be right with you,” or “that bartender over there can help you,” etc.. Of course, he didn’t apologize. He’s middle height, dark hair& beard( that looks unkempt)& just has a horrible attitude. I went to the other bartender& she was very nice. I doubt if I’ll go back there anytime soon.

Good drinks, old school spot...

Yes! Fantastic spot for a Bloody Mary or a stiff cocktail. Haven’t had the food there, but if you want an authentic experience and fewer uptight people, go here!

Nice place to visit friends. Simple food but it's good. I enjoyed it!

I went to this place for the first time. It was for live music. It is a large place, multiple halls under one roof and a big bar. We paid a cover to listen to the band. A trio that was very nice. Two singers and a guitar player doing an awesome job. We enjoyed our time a lot. There was dancing too. Sound was good, relatively good production. Good our beers from the bar, no waiting and costed $21 for three Coronas. Cover was $10. Affordable entertainment for Monday evening. I heard of it thru the members of the band. I don’t think the place does a great job promoting the shows. Maybe they do but I haven’t heard it. If I know the band and have time I would go again. By the way, secure parking at the back was available. I recommend it.
