This USED to be my favorite sushi place. I wouldn’t even know how the food is anymore though, as the last two times I tried placing an order from here on bite squad, my order was canceled. Bite squad says the restaurant wasn’t responding to their order request, so they were forced to cancel 45 mins after multiple attempts at reaching Fuji Ya. Thanks a ton. This doesn’t surprise me, as the last two times I tried calling for a takeout order as well, nobody answered the phones. The phone rings and rings and goes to some random voicemail. I don’t understand how they just don’t care that they’re losing money from potential customers by not even picking up the phone. Is the place even still open?!??

Usually love this place but when we went on Saturday, we had a reservation at 6:45. We arrived on time, and waited just over an hour for our food. However, one person's food came 40 minutes before the other two people's food came and by the time he ate it (he tried being polite and waiting for us to get our food), his was cold and soggy.

Always consistent. The rice is flawless. The people that work here are warm and efficient. And they are very attentive about serving quality fish. We keep coming back because it's worth coming back. Love sitting at the sushi counter and watching and sometimes taking with the chefs if they aren't slammed. But seriously, we love sushi and have it all over the country and this is just excellent sushi.

This place closes at certain times and reopens later, so when I went it opened at 5 and there was so no one there, the restaurant is quite large, there's a front dining section , a bar section, and in the back there's more of a fancy dining section, since it was empty I saved a seat there! The menu is quite large, when it comes to the sushi there alot of options, from plain rolls to special rolls, they also gave warm hand towels which are always nice before dining. The sushi however was more on the expensive side, I believe my roll was $17, but it was delicious! I gave it 4 stars just because the prices were a little high but the quality is good so I would def go again if I'm in the area!
Last week was the first time we visited this place. But It is absolutely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the efficient service, with the superb cuisine and wine and with the decent pay. We will surely go back there soon.
