Long overdue review, reached out about booking a cooking class for my wife's birthday and they put together an experience we will never forget! Perfect blend of learning and date night, with the most amazing food and incredible teacher Anna. Everything we made and everything we've tried in visits since has been amazing! Having been back in the kitchen personally, I can tell you everything is made fresh in house.
I'm in love with authnetic mediteranean, so take my review with a grain of salt... I would give the gyro/tzatziki a 2 for lack of flavor/spice and the whole plate (gyro/bread/fries) also a 2 for freshness. Was it that we sat outside and it took an extra minute? Unsure. But what I am sure about is that I won't be back. It was edible - I didn't die, but there are other preferable options nearby to fill that hole. I gave the 3 stars to try to be generous.
I attempted to visit a restaurant in the area and pulled up to find it closed so I found myself at Gardens of Salonica. I have a tomato allergy so I was hesitant to try to order after I had asked questions about the menu. They ended up making a custom dish for me that was amazing. The best shrimp I've eaten this far from the ocean. I was really impressed that they cared to make sure they tried to feed me. I was ready to not make them bother but they were really nice about...
