Ordered a Birthday Cake oline from here. Ordered a lemon cake & chocolate frosting/buttercream and selected decorator's choice.
It came very very plain. Almost no flavor and only chocolate iced lettering on chocolate colored base with absolutely no other decorations. For over $60, I feel like I overpaid for what I got.

I'm hoping that my circumstance is an outlier - I am sure this bakery is very good and I have heard great reviews. It did not, however hold up to my expectations.

We chose Hark Bakery for our wedding cake, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made! My wife and I are both dairy-free (which can be hard to find accommodations for in the wedding cake industry), and from the beginning Lisa and Katherine made it so easy and such a fun process to work with them! There were so many amazing options to choose from for the tasting, and they took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life perfectly. The cake was not only absolutely stunning but also incredibly delicious! From start to finish, the team at Hark was kind, helpful, and genuinely wonderful to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor for such a meaningful part of our day. Highly recommend!

Hark Bakery is by appointment only and catering/made-to-order now, and I miss their downtown store front for breakfast!

We recently purchased a wedding cake after helpful back and forth emails with Lisa. It was on a short turnaround so unfortunately not able to do a taste test, but we were incredibly happy with the results and would order from Hark again. Super friendly and helpful, expect response delays as they work through busy seasons.

The wedding cake was gorgeous and tasty. If you're familiar with gluten free baking, sometimes the result is crumbly or dense. The cake we received was comparable to a non-gluten free cake, and people that didn't have celiac also loved their slices.

Hark Bakery was able to accommodate allergies, and we got a delicious gluten free, vegan, nut free cake. I'll update with pictures for example.

HARK'S is no longer at this address. This is the location of Nikkolette's Macaroons. *Thanks for the clarification! I will chk you out the next time I am in Mpls.

We submitted a larger order for a work event. Hark was super easy to work with and were very professional. The desserts they provided were delicious and beautifully done!

Did not exist when I got there. No phone number to call… smh. Waste of time.

I was so excited to learn of a gluten free, vegan bakery in the western suburbs. A friend bought me the mini pumpkin cheesecake and they were delicious! Will be going back for more!

Please update your hours on Google. I'm visiting from out of town and took an $18 Lyft to this cafe for breakfast. They are closed. Money not well spent.

We got our wedding cake from here - it was delicious and our guests seemed to enjoy it too. The tasting was fun (got some options to take home to mix and match) and the cake looked great too (real flowers added). I’ll need to order a new one every year for our anniversary because we ate it all already.

Hark did such an amazing job on our wedding cake and mini desserts!! My sister has celiac so we wanted a safe option for her. We loved the fun tasting, the cake was delicious, and we loved working with Lisa. Thank you so much!!

It’s a nice little cafe. The two ladies working this morning were very friendly, kind, and helpful. I had one of the shortbread and fudge sandwich cookie, which was absolutely delicious, and I had a slice of quiche, which was ok.

Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free

Parking: There is no parking lot, so you’ll need to park on the street or in a parking garage

You must visit this hidden gem. The most beautiful, tasty, and magical treats, all vegan and gluten free. Truly felt like I was eating at a French patisserie- everything was so beautiful and tasty. It will be our first stop every time we come to town from now on!

So, to start, I'm EXTREMELY picky when it comes to GF foods. In my honest opinion, 99% of places are terrible at GF baking. Not Hark! They had one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. Ever. It was so soft and melty and didn't taste like cardboard. I didn't take a picture because I ate it way too fast. Make sure to stop here as soon as you can before they close.

Awesome vegan bakery and cafe! Coffee drinks are great (got the Kumquat miel which was very tasty), a slice of quiche and a tart and both were soooo good.Pastry was flaky and buttery. Wish they still had lunch/savory options! Nice place to study or work.
