If you eat there you ll probably seat where Prince used to seat hundreds times ! I am french and used to eat sometimes with Prince at the same table and having nice conversation with him. (inviting me at his table because I am french and wa ted to have news from Paris) This place was a salad bar in the mid 80's. I'll be completely honest. There is much better pub food in Minneapolis within walking distance from here.There isn't more consistent though and I doubt that there is more familiar Minnesota Pub food.You will be happy here.Hell I am happy here.Stop and eat. Pre-Game, Post-Game.Carbs pre-concert.Safe sports viewing.You could lift The Loon up and place it in any town in Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota and it would fit perfectly.That's the best compliment I can give.

This is really a 3. 5 star review. I have been going to this restaurant since 1991ish. This last trip the service was terrible, the waitress was told a few times that I had to be somewhere within 30 minutes and that I needed the tab so I could pay and get to my appointment. The waitress could not be less interested nor attentive. I would normally not even tip such terrible service but was taught 2 wrongs do not make a right so tipped a terrible waitress.
