Definitely a must try! I ordered the cherry limeade, the Royale, and the S'more pockets. The first two were delicious, but the S'more pocket was absolute perfection!! Though, be prepared for it to be messy lol.
Hippo Pockets has some seriously good food. The pizza-style crunchwrap was packed with flavor, perfectly crisp on the outside and cheesy inside. The waffle fries were golden and seasoned just right, a great combo overall.
That said, the wait time was rough. About 45 minutes to get the food, which definitely tested my patience. Still, once it arrived, it was clear the quality was there. If they can speed things up a bit, this place would easily be an all-around...

Good, affordable food! I’m glad there’s a unique and casual restaurant in the neighborhood. My only suggestion is to make the tofu (that was in the Korean BBQ bowl) more flavorful.
