The bread here is under rated. Unlike a lot of places in town where it feels like the bread is made for looks, the bread here tastes like it's been tested to be eaten with soups and sandwiches or just butter.

I've not experienced the manager, but the when we go, (And we go often) the lady who takes our order is very friendly and patient with my young daughter. She answered all sorts of questions about what kind of cheese and where the tomatoes come from etc. If you want a more formal dining they have tables set up for that, or you can eat outside, or you can go to the other side of the wall and sit at a hightop casual table. Make sure to get a pastry from turtlebread for desert.
I was there for lunch. Grilled cheese was delicious! Expected a bit more of a variety of sandwich options. Breads & pastries looked delicious. Counter service. Of note, only takes Visa & MasterCard in terms of credit cards...was a bit of an issue for me but luckily someone was with and could cover me.

It is quite loud, however, since it is a large space. Pretty good food overall is served; you order at the front and they deliver it to your table. It is not ridiculously expensive like most places now. Overall, Turtle Bread Company is a fantastic spot for baked and brewed items, offering excellent food in a cozy, kid-friendly atmosphere.
