Went with my cousin Sid and a couple of nephews. The Good. It's kind of fun and the staff were very sweet. The so-so. The food cuts are a bit not my style. The pork was almost all fat and to render on the grill takes forever. I ended up grilling mostly veggies. They were good. Asparagus. Mushrooms. Peppers. All. But proteins were not great.

Had a very pleasant experience here with Monica and China. I usually come in town biweekly and bi far the best experience. Definitely coming here every time I touch down in town

Went on a Friday night and they were super understaffed. No critiques for our server as she was hustling and doing what she could in a difficult circumstance, but she was not around. Food was served by kitchen staff who didn't have a clue (no plates, missing dipping sauces, missing utensils). I don't know if the vents were not turned on or if someone was having a bonfire, but the place got super smoky. There was no care so no refills on banchan changing of the grill grates or ability to order more sam without standing up and flagging someone down. Getting table bells may help this kbbq joint function more smoothly. Food tasted great, prices are steep, but inline with the area imo.

As someone who travels through Korea often, Hoban is the spot in the Twin Cities! My favorite was the Hoban Galbi. It is very authentic K-BBQ where you will be grilling yourself. Keep in mind that part of the authenticity comes with a service style more similar to Korea. It is not an in and out restaurant, enjoy the atmosphere and time with the company you are with. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time, sometimes it isn't required but it's better to have one than not. 감사합니디!

The food is somewhat distant from authentic Korean food. The amount of food was large, but the quality was disappointing.I visited because I was thinking about Korean food, but the quality of the pork belly seemed a bit poor.

Food was over priced and unseasoned. You had to ask the waiter for refills and side condiments and even after you asked for these things you still had to ask more than once. Never was asked how was the food and wasn’t never told about the automatic gratuity. Also tables were very small for a party of 7. Would not recommend this place if you’re looking to have a good time for the money you spend.Parking: Trouble parking options!! Good luck trying to find a spot close to the restaurantKid-friendliness: Definitely not kid friendly just terrible.

The food was really good, we got samgyeopsal and pork bulgogi and the bulgogi was AMAZING!! It was tender and flavorful, and I loved getting it crispy on the grill! The side dishes were alright, I wasn't a fan of the potato salad or the broccoli? Like others mentioned it's pretty loud inside, both from the other customers and the music volume. Our server was really great, she checked in on us a few times throughout to make sure we had everything we needed! I was anticipating poor service from others' comments but we were well taken care of on a busy Friday night. Something I didn't like was that we had to order sides of rice, it didn't come with the meat orders or anything else. I'm not likely to come back anytime soon just because of the volume inside, but I'd definitely bring friends if we wanted a decent kbbq experienceParking: There's a parking garage between Lake St & Lagoon, we paid $7 for two hours of parking. There's free street parking a few blocks away from Hennepin if you're willing to do some walking

Extremely overpriced bbq... The service was nice. The place is pretty big. It was difficult to find parking which sucked. The food itself was just okay. The Haemul Pajeon was really yummy. They do offer other dishes if you don't want to do BBQ. The quality of the meat was okay. It was def pricey compared to other bbq places. Probably worth visiting if you are in the area but I would def not go out of way to go here. There are way better Korean bbq places in the burbs.

Food was good, service ok, music was played super loud. Guess if you like koren food and night club at the same time, this is where you should go.

Great place with great food. Wonderful for a date or small gatherings! Very expansive menu, so plan ahead if possible. Order the peach soju and thank me later.

I love Hoban! Such friendly and welcoming service, and the aroma grabs you as soon as you enter the foyer. Apple Maps mistakenly navigated me towards a Minneapolis location I've never been to as I'm only familiar with the Eagan location. And it was worth the drive to get there! It's been years since we've been here, but it brought back so many memories for my wife and I. We reminisced about what our favs were, so we ordered up! I highly recommend the bulgogi, the bibimbap, spicy wings, and how could I go without mandu?? We almost went with the pork bulgogi because it's spicy but we opted to make a return date night another time! Also, if karaoke is your thing, stop by their Do Re MI Karaoke, the rooms were packed and there was even a group of 7 ladies who were jammin out. Hoban is great for large families or groups or for a special date night. I sat right next to my bride in the booth and we had all the food in front of us, I joked that we should play the game Sushi Go! Visit Hoban, it'll become one of your instant fav's!!

Hoban Korean Barbecue is such a great and unique dining experience that I highly recommend trying at least once. They have the traditional Barbecue grilling experience with the grill in the middle of your table that you can grill your own meats on. They have a great and delicious assortment of different cuts of meats to choose from. All of the meat choices I've tried have been absolutely delicious. You get a ton of sides and vegetables along side your meats and can make some really cool dishes. The service was great and friendly. Its a fun experience to do with friends or family.

the food was okay, but i got really sick later that night. it was also really loud, and there were bright LED lights shining in our faces the whole time

Our drumsticks and jeyuk bokkeum were delicious! However our seat was torn up and service was lacking. The soju was a bit overpriced as well. They gave us someone else's order and took forever between our app and our entree to ask for our order.
