Everything was just okay. We've been here in the past and always had an excellent experience. We have been to Travail also with an excellent experience. We had high expectations but this just kind of missed the mark for us.

So glad IE opened again after being closed. A few changes to the menu but the mushroom tagliatelle is still there, so all is good. The salmon was fabulous, along with the arancini and the chopped salad. The only thing I would not order again was the Lumache with shrimp. The shrimp was, well, too shrimpy. Kind of like when you get a piece of fish that is "too fishy". The shrimp was small, dry, not fresh tasting. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was tasty but...

We had a great time at ie! This was our first time visiting, we moved to the neighborhood around the time the original closed, and were thrilled when it came back as ie by Trevail! For a group of two we ordered the chopped salad, lumache pasta, pork chop, and cauliflower. It was more than enough, and everything was delicious! Our favorite was the cauliflower and pasta. We are looking forward to sharing this place with friends and family!
