I've had grand old creamery at their St Paul location before and was excited to see another one near Lake Nokomis. This one's a lot smaller, only has one patio table for guests, and the line can get kind of long, but it's all pretty worth it if you're craving ice cream. An extraordinary experience at this cozy place! The quality of its icecreams is very good! What surprised me, my husband, and my three grandchildren was the fact that my husband asked if they received Venmo, but they did not. We did not bring any wallet since we were biking and did not plan to buy anything. So we were about to leave, when a very kind man asked us to come in to order. Wow!!!!!! We will, definitely, go back to this place, but with a wallet. ?Thank youuuuuu!

This is a small shop with a great location beside other eateries and restaurants, in a fairly walkable part of town, but there's also a decent amount of parking! Their cookie monster flavor is to die for, but if that's not your thing, they have a broad selection of others to choose from! Plus, homemade waffle cones and waffle bowls; what's not to love? I've only been here a couple of times but the staff has always been helpful, quick, and cheerful. Check them out!
