I am super happy that Inbound does events that involve books! Books and Brews - what a great combination! However, I went to the most recent Adult Book Fair at the state fairgrounds in St. Paul and was very disappointed. I bought two tickets - $10/ticket - fair price to get in as it included a beverage. From the second I walked in the door at the opening bell, the line was so long for a beer that I never could get one the whole time I was there. I had to pass my drink tickets...
It was all right. Average craft beer, decent food truck. The place was empty, with the Twins game having just started a couple blocks away, but was surprised there was no one there. Standard offering of craft beer styles. Lot of breweries in a small footprint.

What really made the visit special was the incredibly warm and friendly bartender who made us feel right at home. It's so nice to have a bartender who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely welcoming.
