This is our last chance to get Izzy's at their downtown Minneapolis location before the store closes and then it's only available online or in select grocery stores. The line was long but we ordered ours online and when it was our turn, the ordered was already set for picked up right away. They had a separate for for pick up and we didn't know it until we got to the front of the line They didn't have lots of flavors left. One of our order was messed up for our daughter so we got two of the same thing. Sad to see that they will not be around because of COV-ID.

one of guy was very rude to all the customers were there and not only that we got charged for Izzy scoops too, even tho it says free!! ice cream was ok but nothing like you have to waiting for line for it or going thru horrible customer service. very very disappointed!! Sorry

Again another local favorite and I see why. Even if you're not a big fan of ice cream, gotta at least try Izzy's. Expect a long line but the staff is very efficient and mindful. Great flavors offered, hard to exactly describe the taste but it is better than most ice cream if not the best in the area. Located across from a nice park so you can stroll while you enjoy Izzy's best of the best ice cream. Check it out!

A famous local ice cream shop. But the service was so lame that they gave my friend the wrong flavor We both ended up with Graham crunch flavor. It's good to be fair. There's chocolate crunch buried inside. I'm not a big fan of ice cream but I like it.

It was good! I got cookies and cream with an "izzy scoop" of graham cracker. I thought a little scoop on top to eat with the base was a nice touch. The ice cream overall was made pretty well, and I had no complaints It! It seemed different than your average, run of the mill, ice cream. Its also close to a park to hang out at while you eat. Its a good place to visit.

Today was our first time having Izzy's ice cream and it did not disappoint! I was thankful they had the small "Izzy" sized scoop for my two little dudes, since their ice cream always goes to waste with the other kids sized "scoops." I have been following them on Instagram for ages, but couldn't put off making a trip to MPLS any longer once I saw how much they're doing for the local community and that they were participating in the Ice Cream for a Cause day. Thank you for the opportunity for my family to indulge in delicious ice cream & knowing it was making a difference to do so. ❤️

I had read several blog posts that mentioned Izzy's so maybe my expectations were too high. They were out of several flavors listed on the board, and they refused to put the ice cream in the cone, but handed me a cone separately from the bowl. I wanted the Izzy scoop Instagram pic but it's not the same in the bowl. The ice cream itself was fine but nothing special. Overall I was disappointed that I went out of my way to visit during my trip to Minneapolis.

Great ice cream and they give you a mini bonus scoop to try all the fabulous flavors. We had brown sugar bourbon and mint chocolate chip.

Yummy ice cream and good price. They let me and my friend come in 2 mins before close and still have us excellent service. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing ice cream. And they've got a clever solution for a clean and cold Covid pick-up!

This place typically has a line out the door! The service is fast so don't let the line deceive you. The flavors are not only worth the wait but worth the cost - even their basic flavors (cookie & cream, strawberry, etc). One of my personal favorites is the option for an izzy scope (a tiny taste).

As a "Twin Cities institution" that is supposedly a local favorite of Minneapolis residents for decades, I am a little surprised by their silence on the matter of George Floyd. Their business is located in the middle of many of the protests that took place this weekend, however they have remained silent for the past week and a half. They did roll out their new website and their "nationwide shipping" program *and* managed to place a sign on their door during the protests saying they were temporarily closed, but disappointing silence in terms regarding justice, racism, and the rebuilding of our community.

Izzy's is the best. My wife and I have been frequenting there for the past 6 years. We love to run by the Mississippi then stop and grab some Izzy's for the drive home. This location is right next to Gold Medal park which is a great place to hang out and eat ice cream. Also, grab some and take a stroll across stone arch bridge. To be fair, you generally pay more at Izzy's, but it's totally worth it, they always have an amazing assortment of homemade flavors. Also, it's supporting a local business that has a reputation of locally sourcing their ingredients. Love this place and I bet you will too!

Izzy's wins every dang time. The homemade waffle cones are truly hard to pass up. I always get one scoop with an Izzy's scoop and it is just enough, if not more than needed. Their ice cream is rich and creamy and some of the best homemade in Minneapolis. When you walk in it smells right away of fresh waffle cone. My go to flavors are the salted caramel, the graham cracker, the cookies and cream, Irish coffee, and whatever else is in there - it's all good. They will Let you sample flavors as well if you'd like before deciding (I appreciate places that do this). We love to get ice cream and walk around the stone arch or the park right outside. Enjoy!

Great ice cream for a fair price! Right next to a nice park, so when you're done ordering, walk around and enjoy the scenery with a friend! Great place for kids. Only thing is there's not a lot of seating inside, so if it's a relatively cold day, be ready to stand outside if it's packed!
