I had them cater our 50 person social event and it was great. Their appetizer menu was a bit hit and I received many inquires as to who the caterer was. Highly recommend.

Kafe 421 was amazing! I place a lot of group orders for staff at work and this was by far the easiest lunch catering order I've ever had to coordinate. Antigoni was easy to work with, they showed up on time (even a little early...bonus!) the lunches were labeled and staff raved on how delicious everything was. Kafe 421 will definitely be added to our list and probably placed at the top for future orders!

We were also happy with the food, the service and all communications. The server who came to help us pitched I immediately with all the last minute tasks. I’ve just had back surgery and it was my partners birthday. It was an elegant and delicious party.

I ordered about a dozen boxed lunches this fall for a socially distanced gathering. They offer so many choices on wraps and sandwiches that it was hard to choose! The food was fresh and flavorful - everyone commented on the great taste!

Love the chop salad with grapes, just wish they had a half size. $14 is kind of a lot for a salad I am only going to eat half of. Leftovers not really an option! $8-9 I would pay for a half portion I can eat and walk away happy!

Always great food and an amazing experience! Try the gyro and also the lamb burger. The mango salsa with pita is an excellent appetizer.

After a fabulous meal there in the spring I was so sad to see it was permanently closed. Had to find an alternative at the last minute. Ventured to union rooftop. They also had a delish butternut squash ravioli.
Came in early to grab happy hour. Asked for one of the 10-20 open tables. Made us sit at a ledge near the bathroom. By the time we ate and left at least 5 tables were still open. Thanks for the table. Glad you’re closing.

This restaurant is a gem. It excels on every level— service, food, ambiance. I'm so so sorry it's closing, but I'm happy to hear that it will continue its catering services. My husband and I split a large mezethes (appetizer) plate at Kafe 421 two nights ago and it was phenomenal. I could envision ordering that exact same array of tasty morsels for a dinner party or literally any kind of mid-size event. Nevertheless, the restaurant will be missed. Thanks to the great owner and equally great staff!

Kafe 421 was always a neighborhood gem to me. I have been going there for MANY years, for both lunch and dinner, and everything that I have ordered was amazing!! I so enjoyed dining here that I have recommended it to many of my friends and colleagues, who after dining there, were always ready to return! Georgia, the owner, was always present and made it a point to walk around the restaurant to greet and talk to her patrons. I was VERY sad to hear that Kafe 421 will no longer be open as a restaurant after July 31, 2019. They will be closing and concentrating on their catering side of the business. Kafe 421, Georgia, her daughter and their employees will be sorely missed!!

It is a favorite place and we wanted to enjoy our own Last Supper before they close at the end of the month. Now my husband is trying to figure out where he will ever be able to order bouillabaisse again. Our best wishes to Georgia and Antigone and they concentrate on their catering business.
